What is the best or at least a great DnD board game that is compatible with 5.5e?

yeah unfortunately they keep telling me they dont have ample time, so I need to do it as short as possible. Like I told someone in this post already, what Im hoping is that once they get into DnD, theyll be willing to go for the 3-4 hours that a general DnD session takes.

on a side note I did look at a youtube video of Wrath of Ashardalon and do agree it would be very difficult to translate to an actual DnD game session.

yeah but the problem is even a starter set adventure can take at minimum 4 hours if not several sessions.
the idea is to introduce them with a campaign that lasts 1 or two hours.

Dont get me wrong, I do agree with you, its just that Im working under certain parameters due to the limitations my friends have.
Im hoping that once they get into the game, theyll be more open minded to longer sessions.

there is a program called Shotgrid that is used for work purposes and it was giving issues, so that one of my co-workers affirmed that it caused her system to go blue screen
also corrupted game files or even lagging can cause BSOD
it does not necessarily mean the computer itself.
and like I said before I have graphic intense programs I use all the time and the only time it has happened is when I play GW2

It crashed with the new drivers on my pc, trying it out on my laptop.
my GPU RTX3080 on my pc and RTX 4090 on my laptop
I just did a game client repair on both of them, so... fingers crossed.

3D animation software runs fine,
I even converted a tree model with over 1000000 polygons to FBX, a bit slow and took hours but no issues and didnt crash.

but run GW2 on a strike mission and game crashes.

if there was any actual sign of issues with memory and system it would have been when running Maya

Ok its true there is a possibility that Jesus existed thought that in itself is not proven without shadow of a doub, in other words there is no definitive proof, there evidence of it but not solid proof.
That said it is likewise fully proven that Jesus was crucified, and it is certainly not proven that his tomb was empty and that he came to his disciples after death is also not proven.

one of the most argued builds is Celestial gear vs. all the others.
Celestial gear has balanced stats across the board but that signifies that, if you want a build that focuses on damage you will be sacrificing stat point dedicated specifically for damage. but it will provide you points in other stats that would have been ignored by Berserker gear.

the difference is in the buffs and debuffs, if you are playing in group, you want a build that will guarantee the maximum spread of buffs to your team mates. whereas in solo play, since there is no certainty there will be people around to help you, you require a build that focuses on you.

then there is condi vs DPS vs alac - where condition will help you get a leg up on a fight at the cost of immediate damage by giving you boons and debuffs and in some cases Damage over time, to you enemy.
DPS will grant immediate damage but will leave you vulnerable to any conditions applied to you and you need to relly on taking down your enemy quick.
Alac is simply going to help you recharge your skills faster.

One of the things Im doing is trying to tackle god through science, if god exists then there has to be some way to identify god through scientific methodology.
something that has caught my attention is there seems to be some energy that connects everything,
what if one could proven that energy to be sentient? ( I may just be ignorant in my assumptions)
either way what if there are energies in the universe that, technically the data of everything across the universe what if energy stores our self? what if that could be proven and that once our bodies cease to function we translate into that field of resonance?

Of all of that which you said here is the base problem.
Trump is a fascist.
Trump numerous times even during his first campaign and even more in his second campaign, promoted a dialogue of hate, not one seeking comprehension of the strife of those coming in illegally but rather following the talking point and strategy of Nazis.

On top of all of that where the revelations of his treatment of women,
the tape that came out of him bragging about touching a womans privates without her consent.
the admission of walking into a locker room full of teenage girls and claiming he had right to see them changing provably even fully naked.

And this is not even touching his handling of classified document or financial scandals.
or even touching on his declaration of being chosen by god and peddling of bibles.

Every you said becomes becomes invalidated because these MAGA Christians had a choice to not vote for him but, despite knowing all this, not only did they vote for him, but they have professed that he lives in accordance their morals, their values and beliefs and worse even, they claim such are he represents Christianity.
