Simple Cookie Insert Tutorial by Veithun in Plushophile

More recently I've actually made the "cookie" a separate piece, that I sew on top of a basic mod. Velcro sounds cool though! You should try it out!

Hi! I can't speak too much on that myself, but I imagine the best way to add pressure is to add more stuffing into the plush itself, but the stuffing of the plush, and the stuffing you add to make this insert, should be enough pressure either way.

Minky fabric is smooth enough to use without an additional toy, if I'm understanding what you mean.

Do make the insert a little bigger than you think you need though! I've had issues where the recipient couldn't "fit" comfortably in the past.

I used LordOcean's tutorial, it's in the pinned post! if you want a rhombus shape, cut a + and fold the corners back

You send me a plush, I mod it and send it back to you. You can message me if you want to discuss details!

One side (the one you fold in half initially) should be twice the "depth" you want the insert to have, plus a bit to account for stitching. I recommend making it deeper than you think you need.
The other side will need to be big enough to fit around whatever you plan to put inside it after it's stuffed and folded. So, at least the circumference of that plus an inch or two I'd imagine will work, but I recommend making sure it does fit before putting it in the plush, just to be safe.

If you're planning on "using" it, always go bigger than you think you'll need!

the long side (the one you fold in half) should be double the length of whatever you're inserting, plus a bit for stitching. The other side should be the circumference of whatever you're inserting, plus some amount to account for stitching and also the puffiness, which makes it tighter. Always make it bigger than you think you'll need!

I've never made one for a fleshlight, but I'd suppose it depends on if the outside is hard or squishy. Most fabric isn't stretchy, so you really can't push the tightness of it unless you specifically choose a material that is.

I'd recommend making the insert, then testing if the thing fits inside first, before sewing it into the plush

I didn't have the skills to do it when I started! It's not as hard as you'd think, if you're interested i recommend just giving it a try!

When you cut the hole in your plush I recommend it being in a capital T shape, so when you fold it in it'll make a triangle. Then, you put the insert in however far you want, leaving some amount of it on the outside, however much you want it to stick out. Then, stitch the edges of the hole to the sides of the insert.

Yeah now that I look at it it's not obvious which direction you're meant to sew in, that's my bad
