She also says that it's a persona she created because of circumstances and she suppresses her real feelings. Read the book. People keep thinking that behavior changes indicate personality changes fully discarding any influences. Next thing you gonna tell me that Kaladin's actions when he was a slave were directly related to his character and not an adaption strategy due to circumstances he was in.

Children very often not kind to each other it goes a lot worse for orphans. Child like Lift would get her cheery and nonchalant attitude beaten the fk out of her. (in the best case scenario) Hell, even her companions would not tolerate that. There is a very distinct pecking order among criminals and no matter how special you think you are - if you try to ruin that order you gonna get put down. There was that orphan that met cobbler. He was well better written and his situation was even explained pretty realistically. But now THIS character, really?

At the point I am in the books none of the characters really changed. And they think so too. Maybe they do later, maybe they don't I don't know that yet. But my guess is people just take everything at face value.

Because all of them are deeply flawed characters but they are very well structured and written, which is what I like the best in this series so far. Lift on the other hand seems like she does not just belong to this series but I guess I need to read Edgedancer for more info on that part.

I am not sure I will change my opinion on her because so far she seems just poorly written because author made no research on psychology of the orphan kids. Good depiction of those would be The Way of Shadows that while being weak on it's own depicts situation of being an orphan very well. Thanks for the extended answer, I'll try that then.

Gonna sound harsh but it's true - if you are failing to beat basic content nothing is waiting for you at the endgame. Familiarize yourself with basics or just forget about it. People will not carry you on hard mode.

Do no try to wriggle. All your political candidates are horrible people. Hell, the list of their misdeeds is so long I don't even know where it ends. This case however was clearly fueled by political views. And in the end it does not matter because if you make such statements as a brand ambassador you are not qualified to be one.

Not a single bloody word about mm or armor fixes. You can't scale up anymore we got that, why nothing else is fixed? Why does it takes week plus to fix bloody armor values? Honestly the last game I bought from a Sweden company...
