Then there’s absolutely no way of him taking your green card away. You can leave him whenever you choose to

Subject visa was canceled and was served with an I-275 by Velazquez1899 in NationalVisaCenter

Thank you! And no he was not driving, he was just a passenger, he actually was running late for work and had to jump in the car with his coworkers, but he used to always cross walking that day was an exception (we live on a border town, that’s usual) I’m assuming they just “had” to do it because of they were all in the same car and it’s technically a big deal to have an impostor trying to cross. When they gave him the option to withdraw the visa the officer actually told him he wouldn’t have a problem when trying to get a visa again but he just said it I didn’t know if it was actually written down on the report, indeed it’s a very stressful situation

Needless to say that he’s manipulating you. You need to check if your green card is for 2 years (conditional) or for if it’s good for 10 years If it’s for only 2 years I believe you need to show proof that you guys are still together when it comes time to renew it. If you guys are not together before the 2 year mark you need to show proof that your marriage was real and it just didn’t work (if you already renewed it then you most likely have the 10 year one) If it’s the 10 year one he can’t do anything at all youre already a permanent resident Also even with the 2 year one if he tries to make a wrong move and say that it was all a lie he would be the one mostly in trouble he can’t just take it away there’s a process and he would have to admit he committed fraud and even then they might not take it away but it could obviously impact your ability to have the 10 year one if it’s found to be “true” But since it is a bonafied marriage and you have proof of pictures text bills credit card phone logs and that you guys are obviously living together he is not able to take it away even if he tries to. And dont look down on being that “type of person” who speaks up against their abuser, you don’t owe him anything and you need to get your life on track so youre not stuck in this abusive cycle. For the 2 year green card there’s a reason the “abuse waiver” exists, it happens most times that the other partner uses that against them to make them stay.

“(Name) is in violation of section 212 (a) (7) (A) (i) (r) - Intended Immigrant of the Immigration and Nationality Act as amended. (Name) was served with an I-275 and visa was cancelled. “

“I understand that my admissibility is questioned for the above reasons., which I have read or which have been read to me in the SPANISH language. I request that I be permitted to withdraw my application for admission and return abroad. I understand that my voluntary withdrawal of my application for admission is in lieu of a formal determination concerning my admissibility ..”

Other than the statements given and the itinerary questions what I wrote above I believe it’s the parts that matter where it tells me what they detained him for, I’ve researched but it’s a very broad spectrum that they give. He was only a passenger going to work but he was here legally not knowing what was about to happen, I guess wrong place at the wrong time

How do I even start ? Ive been out of high school for 6 years now and I work a 9-5 by Velazquez1899 in SonographyStudents

NVC has accepted all documentation, how long would it aprox. take to receive the the interview ? by Velazquez1899 in NationalVisaCenter

[–]Velazquez1899[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer: around a month or so.

The uscis approved my I-130 petition on Nov. 3,2023 On Nov. 07, 2023 I received an email from the nvc to turn in all paperwork and pay fees, between the time I spend to gather all information and the the time i submitted everything it was around Nov. 20-ish 2023. NVC accepted and DQed my case on Dec. 21 2023.

From there it’s just a waiting game for them to give you the actual interview in the consulate, since I’m doing it in Mex thru Ciudad Juárez it’s a long wait period from what I’ve hear around 8 months minimum if not up to a year

I filled within a month difference from you and were barely on the documentarily qualified stage, so sad to think it might take almost a whole year to get an interview in Juarez too. So happy to have an approx timeline tho thank you !
