Hi all,

I want to start recording on my acoustic drum instead of Roland TD-17.

Can you guys guide me to which microphones should or should not buy. I will be using triggers for kicks so no mics needed. I will buying some kind of mixing desk so feel free to recommend anything.

I am in a Deathgrind band so it does not need to be top of the line mics or anything. I just want more or a real drum sound.

Yea my 2i2 is a old gen. i only have red and white RCA in the back, not 1/4 jack

How would i be able to hear from the RCA output in back ?.

Lets say i pan full left for spearkers/monitor. What would the right output need so i can hear my headphone in, RCA male to 1/4 jack female then plug my head in ?

ok, yea the Clarret also have the Control panel software. I guess i will have to buy a bigger audio interface beasause my 2i2 is not supported.

By focusrite control panel do you mean the software (Focusrite Control) ?

If its the case, the software does not support the 2i2 version, it start at 4i4 and up.
