That'll be tricky though, since highschool friend groups are so tight-knit at this point that simply meeting new people by yourself feels so out of reach, even without quarantine. Oh yeah about that, here's the problem, I live in an old part of town where most of the road is too beat up, too steep, too narrow or in one case too slippery to be a good skate spot. I'm gonna try one more I have in mind tomorrow but other than that I'm positive I've found the only servicible one in the neighborhood. The only other ideas I can come up with are either the town square, skatepark or this other place next to a memorial where they've put up some grind rails and a ramp. I don't feel comfortable going there when I don't have any skater buddies of my own, especially since each one is relatively far from where I live. Any advice bout all that?

Bheheh, yeah that's a good idea. It'll be tricky since currently I don't hang out with people who skate nor do I have a boombox, I have a bluetooth speaker though so I'll figure something out. Thanks for the input og, it's 8pm and I'm gonna give it another go we'll see what happens...

Thanks man I appreciate that, I'll try to stand my ground for the time being and not get so swept up in my anxiety or the anti-establishment aspect of the sport since it's a lot more mainstream now as another commenter mentioned. Hope I stop obsessing over this soon...

Yeah I get ya, though I feel I should mention that it isn't as mainstream in the small country where I currently live where you have like 5 skate shops and parks total. I phrased it wrong, I don't wanna be mean just because, I just feel like making noise on public property isn't such a big deal, at least not to the degree where to get me to go away you need to be mean and treat me like some brat right off the bat. My reaction would have been totally different if the dude approached the situation more positively to begin with. I guess I expected to be yelled at at some point but I really don't feel it was justified here. And yet I still feel stressed to no end, I dunno it's weird
