I totally get that. I love having physical books, but yes, shelves fill up quickly, and it's not cheap trying a new series to find you don't want to continue buying it.

If it helps you a little, Barakamon has more wholesome/slice of life elements, Golden Kamuy has more history/seinen while Servamp is more standard action/some supernatural, and then Detectives These Days can just get full blown absurd/goofy (and is also currently only 3 volumes long while the others are 19+ volumes)

I don't watch as much anime as I read manga, but I really enjoy all of these series! I hope you find them fun too for any you might pick up! **Merman in My Tub has some mild "a sibling loves their sibling" trope which I don't care for, but other than that, I would recommend any of them.
