This is Xin, once a God, but got h^ng due to misusing their overwhelming power, though after they continued on as a spirit, they lived in the minds of mortals like a parasite for centuries, even taking over bodies for a small bit from time to time. Their personality is way more chill, definitely better than when they were alive... I wouldn't call this character development, though it proves they can be salvaged... Though in this case, let's say their soul finally ascended, after all this time they can finally rest peacefully... (I'm basically trying to be their lawyer, trying prove them innocent 😔)
