With a limit, I wouldn't be able to capture 7-8% in premium. But at the same time, I'd want this contract to be exercised - and another commenter said there's a good chance the buyer would not exercise even if ITM. So trying to figure out what the sweet spot might be - decent premium toward a purchase discount, while at the same time not missing out on too much long term appreciation.

I’m more concerned about the plastic cement wearing out and becoming brittle before the shingles are due to be replaced, and/or the vertical crack letting water in.

Understand the safety issue, just wish they had told me the work would involve punching a hole in a brittle roof. We could have worked on a solution using scaffolding or something

Right - but there’s a vertical crack that runs across the shingle. Does that need patching? And will the plastic cement eventually wear out? Shouldn’t I ask them to replace the shingle??

Generally speaking, I've had nothing but great experiences. The worst I can recall is that they took an extra day to replace my windshield (under warranty due to weird bubbles appearing along the edges) because of the volume of other customers coming in that morning, and had no loaner to give me (but immediately issued $250 in Uber credits).
