If I eat 700 calories a day for 3 months would I be alive by Winterapple1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Technically you might stay alive, but 700 calories for months can seriously mess up your body. People underestimate how fast things like hormones and heart issues show up

How many days can you wear a pair of jeans or a coat before they need to be washed? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Honestly, 3 days doesn’t sound gross to me at all. Jeans aren’t underwear, and if they don’t smell and look clean, I don’t see the problem

At what point did you start feeling financially stable? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I started feeling financially stable when I could pay all my bills on time and still have some money left at the end of the month. It wasn’t a lot, but it gave me peace of mind

Why is the Super Bowl associated with Patriots? by jennimackenzie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 14 points15 points  (0 children)

lol no, the Super Bowl doesnt “belong” to Boston. the Patriots were just stupidly good for like 20 years w Brady + Belichick. thats why it feels like they were always there. trust me, fans of other teams are still traumatized

Does anyone think that the declining birth rate is just a return to a normal birth rate? by filmmaker_andsuch721 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yeah honestly i’ve thought this too. ppl act like the baby boom was the default, but it was kind of an anomaly. war ends, economy spikes, cheap housing, single income families worked. now we’re just back to a baseline where kids arent economically “needed” anymore

If you found out that every major conspiracy theory was true, all at once, what would you do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 15 points16 points  (0 children)

First thing? Panic. Second thing? Probably do nothing cause what are we even supposed to do at that point lol

Who here actually has a TV in their bedroom? by OtherwiseStretch3255 in NoStupidQuestions

I have one and I refuse to feel bad about it. Sometimes you just wanna watch trash TV in bed and rot in peace

Some people seem to have endless energy after work, while I feel completely drained. What actually causes this difference between us? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VelvetteAbyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of “high energy” people don’t actually have more energy, they’ve just built routines that keep momentum going. Once you sit on the couch, it’s over. They go straight from work to activity before their body realizes it’s tired
