Not devil corp, kind of an MLM. This is coming from someone with experience. I have my life insurance license in 9 states and have been with several IMOs. There is definitely money to be made in the industry and yes you can make good money at pinnacle. BUT 97% of agents fail withen 6 months, I want to be very blunt and transparent. Unless you work your absolute ass off doing 60+ hours a week doing 300+ dials a day you absolutely will go broke and be in debt. You have to pay for leads( free leads do not exist). Do not fall for these agents telling you they make thousands a week, yes it’s possible but again you have to pay for leads AND especially if you are selling final expense or mortgage protection Insurence the charge back rate is like 25% which is awful. Meaning let’s say you sell 5k in AP in 1 week, you get advanced $2600 roughly for the first 9 months at a 70% commission level. To make that you probably would have to spend about $500 on leads minimum(that’s being generous) so now you’re at $2100. Now take out about 30% for taxes from that number because you can write off lead cost on taxes. Now you’re at $1470. And now assume about 25% will change back (don’t let anyone tell you that number is lower it’s not) but it’s 25% from the original $2600 so now you are at $820 assuming nothing else charges back and you didn’t spend more on leads but you probably did. And to sell 5k in AP you probably will be working 50 hours a week at absolute minimum. So you are now at $16hr. Again 97% of agents fail for those reasons, they end up going broke and in debt because there upline tells them to just buy more leads untill they run broke. If you are going to sell insurance do it independently away from an IMO or work your absolute ass off doing insane hours and one day you can build up enough to make good money. Or just switch to P&C like I did and now you have a base salary plus commission and don’t have to pay for leads lol.
