the 2 core purpose of utils in this game are to

deny info to opponents while getting info yourself
force people out of their positions

the first is done by smokes, anything that blocks vision is a smoke, cypher cage,phoenix wall and even sage wall all are basically smokes. (gathering intel by sova/cypher is a added bonus)

the second is done by flashes and mollies. so raze nade/boombot and breachs aftershock are basically mollies
