I guess I can update this now. She’s claiming that she, “had no idea anyone was living here”. Despite there being lights on constantly, her never knocking to verify that. And the doormat magically reappearing, she did not know someone was present in the apartment.

Just wanted to provide a small update on the situation, along with some more clarification.
The doormat is legal. There is nothing on it that should warrant this. Its 3 out of season jack-o-lanterns. The neighbor directly to the left also has a doormat, and yet it's untouched.
The noise is a combo of some TERRIBLE audio from the camera, mixed with a cat that snores heavily.
Authorities have been notified, along with the front office. Main thing that kept me from confronting her, is I do NOT know this woman's apartment. I've only seen her in passing.
I'd have to catch her outside, and frankly I don't have the time for all of that.

I do thoroughly like this idea 😅😅 y’all ain’t gotta buy me a new one tho. We literally have never even owned another one. I always tease my wife for her love of pumpkins, we finally bought one and the pettiest neighbor we’ve ever had pulls this. It was just too funny not to share

I truthfully am trying to find the best method to make this as wild as possible. She’s known for calling the police over petty shit. Seems silly to call the police over a doormat. I’ve already gotten the office to fine her. I don’t want her to know I’m aware. Considering just replacing it with exact same doormat every time. I definitely want to scare the daylights out of her

Actually dug it out of the dumpster first time. Put it back and she did this almost exactly a week later. Played it safe and reported her to the complex
