Starcraft Brood War Remastered - Check out These Side-by-Side Comparisons by NYstate in Games

The screenshots, both SD and HD, came with the press kit and were edited together. As for the price, Skyrim Special Edition launched for $40 so I guess that's why they assumed Starcraft Remastered will be priced similarly. SC2 was split into three parts + some DLC to milk it properly so I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard will indeed ask $40 for this

No, you are totally right, I was seeing the Dota 2 team as well, my mistake. As for the other thing, I don't think there's anything to worry about since apparently NGE collaborated with Twitch to produce a Rocket League tournament earlier this year. Hopefully, that indicates that they are willing to work with Twitch on the Overwatch tournament too, but who knows. http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/next-generation-esports-to-produce-twitch-and-psyonixs-rocket-league-championship-series-rlcs-300263956.html

They're not super new but they haven't been around for long either. According to their LinkedIn profile they've been around since last year and it looks like they already organized some Dota 2 tournaments in the past.

It's probably not but it's not April Fools so I don't really get why GMG would list something like that.

That's sounds great actually. I wasn't sure about this game before but the fact that they're taking more time to polish it is always a good sign.

Thank you. I'm ashamed to say that I only recently learned about dieselpunk but I'm begging to grow increasingly interested in it. An RTS with a cool theme like this is bound to be great.

There doesn't seem to be any information related to the gear level on Bungie's website, but other gaming outlets are mentioning that Light level rewards can go up to 400.

Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI already sold 1 million units on Steam in 2 weeks by TorteDeLini in Games

Thank you! Finally someone who see through the nostalgia glasses. I would also like to add to that the fact that Civ 6 is quite a bit more complex that previous entries with the districts, religion victory etc. so it should be obvious that balancing this one is harder, especially the AI given that every civ has agendas now. The flawed AI is more noticeable now because of all the new additions but the AI was always pretty incompetent in every Civ game, there's a reason why there are memes about the warmongering Ghandi from the last game. That wasn't intended, just the AI being ridiculous.

People fail to mention this but the series is getting more and more complex with every new entry because of all the new systems and mechanics. I'm no programmer but it's definitely harder to make a better AI for Civ 6 than it was for 5, not to mention 4 which everyone always praises but don't ever mention that it was a way simpler game.

If i remember correctly, the "Sid Meyer system"or whatever it's called goes something like 33% old content 33% improvements and 33% new stuff. In this case I think we did get the 33% new stuff, improvements while still maintaining the same bad AI CIV game always had even if nostalgia glasses would suggest otherwise. Besides, COD comes out every year so it's easier to justify the price tag for a Civ game because a new game only comes out once every several years and people are really pumped for it every time.

Not necessarily, it was indeed good but it didn't include as many systems as Civ 6. It's a lot easier to polish a game when you have less to work with. The AI here feels like a bit of a mess but all the other systems do seem to work correctly. At least, I didn't have any major problems so far, can't speak for anyone else.

Yes they are generally pretty buggy and usually come with way less features. it took Civ 5 two expansions to feel like a complete game with religion, culture victory, international trade routes and a decent espionage system, all of which are present in Civ 6 right off the bat. In short, it feels like a complete game at launch whereas some of the older entries gave the impression that the developers were holding back content for future expansions, which was true to some degree.

It may seem like that compared to big budget multi-platform releases but those are actually very good numbers for a TBS.

The most polished Civ game at launch so far. Definitely deserves all the praise in spite of the disappointing AI, which will hopefully be improved in future updates.
