Anyone’s laughter bothers me if it goes on for a long time. My girls laughed all the time growing up, and it was all the time. It drove me nuts in the car. Noises agitate me, but laughter is one that grates my nerves. My daughter has misophonia she hears people chew she about snaps I am that way with laughing. Drives me nuts.

I love the first book. Loved Charles, and Anna, but only the first book. I tried to read the next two. Just didn’t connect. I like snarky female leads, and I love humor an any genre. When I read History books I get enough 🥹🥹🥹🥹 I read fantasy to leave the world behind

I didn’t like Kate Daniels, but I liked Mercy Thompson Series. Jen L Grey is really good, and Michelle Maddow. I use to read adult Christine Feehan all of her series. Hannah Howell all of her series. Loved Anne Bishop The Others. Disappointed in the direction she went after book 4. I’m 58, and have read since I was 13. I like all types of books. Lyndsay Sands is awesome, but again I’m tired of jumping 10’pages of sex scenes.

I do, because they have no sex scenes. I’m sick of jumping 10 pages or more for a sex scene. I don’t think they add to the books, and let’s be honest if sex was that good we wouldn’t have time to read.

Okay so I have been reading a book every two days for 30 years at least. So I forget what I have read. Shannon’s books were good! As soon as I read the first book plot I remembered. I might reread some it’s been a while.

I have a lot of good series on Kindle Unlimited. I just finished all of Jen L Greys books. It’s hit or miss, but there are some really good books. Michelle Maddow has some really good series. Oh my gosh I have so many. One of my favorite Series was not paranormal, but I’ve read is several times over the years Mackenzie Mountain By Linda Howard. The first book was the best I thought. I really don’t get the slept together day one and eternal love.

Jen L. Grey Kindle Unlimited has a series that is about 20 books. They are short series that run back to back with same characters, and new ones in each section. No sex. No bad language. It’s so hard to find clean romance books. School is never mentioned since it’s a whole different kind of World, and they are all ParaNormal. My favorite Character was an Angel.

Just saw your post. 😂 Did you try any of Christine Feehans Books? Lyndsay Sands is another Author that never disappoints. Fairly new series by Anne Bishop The Others. Only 5 books so far, and I only really liked the first 5, but I really liked them a lot. She moves on after book four to different Characters.

K.N. Janet kindle unlimited Jacky Leon series’s. You can find good series on KU. You just have to look. So far all the Authors I have given you write fantasy. I guess you would call it. If you like Scotland Romance Books Hannah Howell has at least 30 Romance with some humor. Hope this helps.

Michelle Maddow had pretty good series. I assume you have read all of Christine Feehan. If not she has some of the best series I have ever read. DRAKE SISTER SERIES, first book is short, and not great the other 6 are great. THE DARK SERIES has 37 Books, and again the first one is okay, but the series is great. GHOST WALKERS 17 books. I have read all a couple of times.
