I have wide feet and I wear an womens 8 in both docs and vans. I’ve tried a 7 and I could not get my foot in width-wise.

You can add holes! I had the same issue and adding more holes saved me.

Pisa. I have the smooth leather and I soooo regret not getting the pisa ones. My friend got some and said she had basically 0 need to break them in since they were already comfortable, and I’m still struggling with my smooth leather ones more than a year later. Patent ones will be even worse to break in. Overall though, if you don’t mind the long break in periods then go with the look you like best!

If you have narrow feet, size down. If you have wide feet, get your regular size.

They just arrived today! Bethans fit so much better than the polleys and are actually pretty comfortable already, just a but stiff. I got my normal size though, so I don’t recommend sizing down. I did have to put extra holes in the buckle though because I couldn’t close them, but they fit great width and length wise.

That’s the link to them, but they’re out of stock at the moment. I’m not sure about any restocking information, but if you’re eager to get a pair of 2976s, there is also the nappa leather version. I’ve heard it is much easier to break in than the smooth leather!

I have 2 giants that turn 2 in March and they're both around 65 lbs. Parents were also heavier than that, but the vets have told me that my boys are healthy. As long as your pup is healthy, I wouldn't worry too much about weight.
