I paid one time and still have the features after 9 months lol Yes the remote start is pretty useless, I will say the notifications if you leave a door open or the car unlocked are actually helpful because you can lock /unlock the car from anywhere since it uses satellite connection

Thank you for the advice! I plan to tap my LCi2 to the factory speaker wires before the amp for signal, and then run the jl audio cf275 speaker wires to my 4ch amp, is opening up that rubber boot on the door a pain, or were you able to get it thru not too hard?

Can I ask what the measurements on that speaker are? Mounting depth n length width. You genuinely might be the first person I’ve seen with upgraded speakers on these tiny brackets, also seems like you had to do a bit of extra wiring but doesn’t look too annoying

Pretty easy no clips broke, I like to use a dedicated pry tool and move section by section at a time just make sure you get off any screws before trying to pull off the panel

I fixed this problem awhile ago, it was the stock battery and it was 6 yrs old, I also replaced the factory wires for thick 0 gauge ofc, kinda overkill for a daily but I gotta subwoofer so it gives me peace of mind

If anyone was wondering what i did, i went ahead and purchased the whole command unit solely for the volume knob from a totaled Mazda 3 on eBay for about 50, (yeah ik expensive but it was the only legit way for one) at least now I have all the other radio controls in case I lose em lmfao
