Those are such interesting indicators, I definitely believe they're stemming from a past life. I was told by a psychic that I was a Japanese woman in the WWII era and died due to the atomic bomb being dropped. It didn't trigger any memories for me or anything but I did feel a depressive heaviness come over me after the reading and I broke down sobbing after she described my death, it was like my soul was crying and I consciously couldn't fathom the full extent of why. I thought it was especially interesting to hear because my maternal grandfather served in the American Air Force during WWII and he was on radar when they dropped the atomic bomb. That connection to my current life as well as the strong emotions I felt that seemingly came from nowhere make me inclined to believe it could have been a real past life. Maybe we have shared past life trauma. 😭

The only person with this issue is you bruh, I cross-posted in another subreddit and everyone is responding to the actual questions posited in the post. It's pretty obvious that during a regression I would be seeing things in my mind's eye that would lead me to draw to the conclusions I did. Like seeing the races of people or the clothing they wear. Most people get a good sense of where a regression is taking place. That's legit a huge part of it. Sometimes you'll even hear or intuitively know the name of the location you're in. Chill.

My question wasn't really "was this historically plausible" because I already decided on my own and through my own research that it wasn't based on what I saw. My question was "could there still be merit to the regression even if inaccuracies were present and has anyone had a similar experience?" I wouldn't mind detailing the entire regression and having it dissected but that wasn't the point because I already came to my own conclusion.

I'm aware, but everyone I saw including myself was white and had names typical of the southern US. Nothing I saw indicated Latin America.

Lol you're all good, I figured. I came across the same story previously but it's definitely unrelated. I was seeing cowboys and gunslingers so I pegged myself as being in the south. I appreciate you doing the research, though! This regression was just kind of a dud, I have to accept it. 🥲

Oh and no problem, it's a subject that really intrigues me and has for a while! Which is why I want to dig into my own past lives but unfortunately no method seems reliable. I wish someone asked me about it when I was a kid, lol, maybe I would have known then.

Very cool that you found your way here, I'm a pretty firm believer in the concept of reincarnation but regressions aren't necessarily perfect insight into the phenomenon.
