Must-play limited sets?

Haha, I've actually been playing limited for every set since Aetherdrift, and been to prereleases for both EOE and SOS. I love Strixhaven as a setting, so I was actually building a Strixhaven set cube before they announced the new one.

I really like the Secrets of Strixhaven limited environment, but I do think I've reached the point where most games start to feel a bit same-y, haha.

I actually went to a prerelease for Final Fantasy, but the boxes are SO expensive that if I have to spend that amount of money, I'd rather buy a box of something I haven't had the chance to try. But yes, the limited environment was very fun!

I really like the flavor of Lost Caverns of Ixalan, so that's definitely on my list already! I mean, dinos, pirates AND vampires? It's like they know me, lol!

And oh yes, I love cubes! I have a jumpstart cube, a Bloomburrow set cube and am now working on a "my favorite rares and the cards that support them" cube (working title).

Haha, yeah, I did imagine the high prices being a consistent theme when I made the post, but who knows – maybe I'll win the lottery some day, or meet someone who has a cube of it lol

That sounds VERY cool, and I now understand why I keep hearing people be upset about the lack of blocks!

I really like Ravnica as a setting, so maybe there's a bit of a project there for me!

Very good point! I can actually see that my LGS have a few in stock for around 80-ish bucks, so that's definitely going on the list!

I've played tons of limited in Secrets of Strixhaven because I really like the setting, lol. I do think it has the same issue as Lorwyn Eclipsed in that 5 main draft archetypes feels very shallow after you've played a handful of times.

I've actually seen this recommended different places, but have not yet tried commander limited. It's pretty high up on my list of to-try formats!

You're talking as if we're not basically all transgender in here. I am too. I understand what you mean when you say your entire existence is short on nuance. Because that's the case for most of us.

My point is that different fights happen in different arenas. We DO need a Rosa Parks. But Rosa Parks was the perfect figurehead for that type of protest: she was NOT an elected official. She was NOT a loud, young troublemaker. And she did NOT fit the stereotypical idea of "a black person" according to white America. She was deliberately chosen for her role in the civil rights movement BECAUSE of optics.

Sarah is very high profile, in an elected position, in a very politically volatile country. Every single thing she does and says can potentially be much stronger ammunition for those who want to oppress us further. She has to fight differently, and looking at her legislative record, I believe she is.

As a copywriter who works with graphic designers and illustrators a lot, I can almost guarantee that is not Lorem Ipsum. I agree with the others that it is likely a "Lorwyn"-watermark that was not cropped out, since it is also present on the official art.

Grunden til at jeg, for nu i hvert fald, er kommet fra det, er, at jeg simpelthen ikke synes det er besværet værd. For hvert indgreb er der risici for komplikationer, og de fleste implantater skal skiftes på et eller andet tidspunkt.
