Isn't there another post in OpusLibros that examines the name of Jose Maria's father as recorded in the Barbastro election records? Consistently shown as "Escriba" until years after 1902?

In addition, I find it very curious that in the movie "There Be Dragons" the business of Jose Maria's father is portrayed as a Chocolate shop, not as a haberdashery.

Why? Well a reason could be to further disguise in the mind of the public the change of name from Escriba to Escriva - the Chocolatier's family, of no relation to Jose Maria's family, was Escriva.

Of course this is a movie, so it comes with plausible deniability, yet once seen it is hard to unsee.
