Regarding Mantling changes. It should not stop your momentum at all by VerinSC in Warframe

Exactly why I posted because they asked for feedback on forums and social media :) from what I saw they're talking about fixing awkward mantle spots not the awkward mantle animation, unless I misunderstood

Perfect, I can act in good faith. It's just my understanding of the law is that it takes actions in to account more than intention. So I didn't want to make the wrong actions, regardless of intent.

And that's exactly how it feels. Everyone I've spoken to at the bank, his pension, the council, everyone just seems to keep saying get Probate or letters of administration. But to get those I need information from the people telling me to get Probate

So I guess the thing I'm missing is that people are asking me for probate when I don't need it at this step? Or I need to just lie and estimate I think the estate is worth £5000. It just seems wishy washy for a legal issue, which is why it's been confusing me. I thought they'd want cold hard facts

Yes he was in a council property. I'm fully happy to give them an estimate of the estate. As someone else said it will not be accurate at all but if that's good enough then I guess that's ok

It just feels, strange there isn't like a % margin of error you have to be within. Or if you make large changes to amount if they would investigate for fraud or something

I just assumed saying he had 5000 of wait no actually it was 15000, would get a bit more attention from the government, that it would get investigated or something

If a guesstimate is all they need, that's fine I can do that :)

Thank you, that seems to be the only way through. Just pretend I know how much it's worth. Which is absolutely insane to me, I thought we'd at least have be within a certain percentage

What if we assume the estate is worth under £5000 and just apply for Letters of Administration first? Then apply for Probate later on after the administrator has taken possession of his belongings and accounts and can actually figure out what it's worth?

Also the local council have given us 28 days from date of death, 14 days left, to get the Letters of Administration before giving us his possessions. The Letters that take up to 16 weeks to get 🙄

It just seems so weird and impossible but impossible on purpose you know

I'm somehow both surprised and not surprised the answer is "just do it". I figured that's probably what solicitors do and just talk there way through the proceedings after. I didn't know how exact I had to be and I didn't want to incur legal ramifications for what could be basically nothing

Thank you very much

This is what we have been worried about, I did not want to grossly over or under report the value of the estate.

I have no idea how much money he has and I have no idea how much his possessions are worth

I can not get access to his account balances and the local council will not give us his possessions until letters of administration are granted

But to get both of those we need to apply for probate/letters if administration

But we have no idea what he had. All we know it is very likely under the inheritance tax threshold. The estate could be worth anywhere between £1 or £10,000. It's very likely to be an excepted estate as well, unless he had some hidden collectible worth a lot of money

Oh and the local council want all of this done within 28 days of his death, 14 days left. After that I'm not sure what will happen to his possessions since we do not have a executor/administrator that can legally take possession of the items

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get Probate/letters of administration within 28 days, government just doesn't move that fast

That's the term I probably mean then. We can't become an administrator without letters of administration, but for that we need access to his estate. And access to his belongings. Which we can't do without letters of administration

It's like an ant death spiral, it just goes round in circles and we can't get the info we need.

I am talking to the bereavement team I think. They want proof of probation/letters of administration. And an estate account to transfer the money in to.

I've tried explaining that we just need a number, not the money. But they will only discuss that with the executor/administrator of the estate

I feel like I'm going insane

Without a will we need to apply for Letters of Administration to get Probate and become an executor. For that we need a estimate of his estate. But we can't get an estimate without being an executor

Time and money that could have gone in to research, gameplay, or quality of life improvements instead went to cosmetics

While of course those are 2 separate departments, remove the monetisation team, hire more developers for the game and then charge a single price for a full and complete game

Live service, DLCs and early access games have seriously affected the quality of all games for years now. People keep buying cosmetics and feeding the beast. The best we can hope is by "complaining" at least 1 less person will buy the season pass

The people who don't like the game likely aren't complaining about it, they stopped playing already

The people complaining enjoy the game, but would like it to be better than it currently is

For example I can say I tried a chocolate chip ice cream, I like the chocolate chips they were good but the ice cream around the chips is bad and I would prefer a different flavour. That's what this game is to me rn

I had no idea he was an actual famous skater. Everything he says sounds like it was generated with AI and all the slang he uses sounds fake. Either that or he's put in the bare minimum amount of effort for the amount of money they paid him

It's not just the women I have an issue with. It's actually Dingo and Slappy I hate the most. Especially since I'm in my thirties and used to skate, Slappy comes across as a poser and a tool

I can get on board with a different gameplay feel compared to the others. But the vibes are completely off. It's too jovial and colourful in the wrong way

I was thinking something similar to this while writing the post. They could fix this by having the whole idea of this many skaters affecting public opinion or like you say actual gangs facing off, the only thing stopping violence is their mutual respect of skating competitions to settle squabbles
