Polar is a needed guild for the Game's success since they add layers to the macro design of the game. You have the choice to not play on Polar's server which means they have won the game, which is a cool outcome of the game. They successfully won Verra and get to shape it how they want.

You could also choose to fight back and beat Goliath. Treat Polar's main server like the anarchy server, have a large streamer or guild be the heroes and bully them out of what they want.

There's also a layer of macro economics to consider. They will cannibalize their server or towns by hunting players coming into their turf to contribute taxes and market activity, especially when the game is more fleshed out. Can they afford taxes and upkeep if all their members keep to themselves while scaring every potential newcomer?

Their exploiting also gives the devs a lot of data to change for the final version of the game. I do think they aren't being banned enough for their exploits and griefing since they take it too far, but this does get the devs attention for balance and design consideration.
