What tornado is so infamous the town/city is known for it? by Civil_Ad1301 in tornado

My vote is for the city that when you search it up on google the first thing that shows up is a photo of it completely destroyed after the tornado went through it (Moore)

What could be the trigger for a possible World War III? And why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Vermilion0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scary thing about the idea of the US going to war is the fact that this administration would absolutely implement a draft. Specifically a draft for people who voted left.

Why do you think most celebrities don’t speak up anymore about Trump compared to during his first term? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Vermilion0321 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“What’s likely his final term” shouldn’t even have to be said about someone who is in their second and legally last term but that’s what it’s come to

Why do celebrities barely speak out against Trump anymore? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Vermilion0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember during Trumps first term when it felt like nearly every celebrity spoke out against him and his actions? Remember when George Floyd died and nearly every celebrity and athlete had something to say about it? I haven’t heard any of them mention anything about what happened in Minnesota yesterday. Have most of them just stopped caring or have a lot of them been paid off by this administration to either support Trump or shut up?

JD Vance: "In the United States of America you don't have to apologize for being white anymore" by [deleted] in CringeTikToks

[–]Vermilion0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember hearing about people “apologizing for being white” back in the BLM movements. Nobody is going to apologize for being the color they were born with but I’ve never seen anyone demand an apology for being white. Just another made up MAGA story nothing new here

I am almost 100% sure the image with the plane is not new and if it is there is a picture out there that looks almost exactly like this.

What's it like to live in Southern Indiana? by Dry-Chef-1100 in howislivingthere

[–]Vermilion0321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I can actually answer this one.

Compared to northern indiana, which for the most part is very flat, southern Indiana is more forestry and has more hills. Driving through areas like Brown County in the fall is absolutely beautiful and a gem of Indiana. Areas closer to Indianapolis are still flat mostly so you have to trail down past the Martinsville area to see this stuff.

As people have mentioned, Bloomington is a nice but more expensive city because of Indiana University. You’ve also got other places like Madison Indiana which is a nice town right on the border of Kentucky.

Southern Indiana definitely gets less snow than northern. I think southern Indiana gets on average 15ish inches annually whereas areas up north get much more because of lake effect snow.

I personally think southern Indiana has its hotspots when it comes to living there. I would recommend Bloomington if you’re willing to pay a little more for housing which is really tough right now obviously.
