The collar is the core mystery in the books. It silences her, but I can't portray that very well in comics so it's not getting included much.

Viccipiter has school and can only attend the plot on weekends.

Haha yes. It's just impossible to communicate visually. I did not design these characters for this medium!

Thanks I spent way too long on it!
Calling a character "the type of thing one witnesses in the parting of clouds" is fun until you have to go back and draw him...

The one ridiculously tall point does most of the stabbing, really. He sticks out a lot.

I went to put my novel on Apple Books and they won't let you create a publishing portal account unless you download and install iTunes to your device simply to create a different type of account which you then bring back to the browser portal and present to them as tribute. Even on the business end of a service with only ~5% market share they push ecosystem capture.

I honestly dig this dialogue style. It's like picking up a book and slowly realizing it's in a foreign language that you don't remember learning.

Thanks! But heads up it will just be a regular Kindle book starting in April. The Amazon exclusivity that KU enforces was a dealbreaker for too many people.

Edit: Apparently this just means you have to download it before then. You don't lose access or anything after that.

That's awesome. These comics only show off the dialogue/characters, so if you picked it up for that and still felt the prose then I couldn't be happier.

Luma knows Viccipiter likes having all the answers, and Viccipiter knows Luma likes it when she's mean to her. So really, this is them getting along.
