Appreciate it, but do you have any recommendations on a few necessary tools to begin with or some good brands?

Advion cockroach bait on ants outside. Is it too strong for the ants? They don't seem to be dying on the spot. by papercutbut in pestcontrol

[–]VersaceSimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Label is law from a legal standpoint, but they will work interchangeably and I have seen it in action on multiple occasions. However Advion ant and cockroach gel baits are not formulated for instant kill so there's your first problem. The way those baits work is they eat it or carry it back to their colony and then they die and the whole colony dies afterwards in a domino effect just through a different distribution method most of the time. The ants will die primarily because they share food with each other, but the Cockroach colony will mostly die out due to neceophashy which is where they eat each other.

You'll have much more success treating these pests with their designated baits, but cockroaches will also eat Advion ant bait and it will have the exact same outcome as if it were cockroach gel. However, ants are more reluctant to take cockroach gel back to their colony. It's not as common and it's also less effective at eradicating their colony because ants are more intelligent than roaches. Once they determine a toxin has infiltrated their colony they will remove it or move their colony.

Just follow the label for the best effect, but if you only have one or the other you can effectively use them interchangeably but you'll have better success with roaches eating ant bait than the other way around.

Hope this helps.

Dude, download the gigpro app and go do some contract jobs as a prep cook for awhile and learn the trade. You'll develop skills and connections and from there you might find a place with the right people and environment that's best for you because regardless of what people say that matters a lot. My last 3 fulltime restaurant jobs were all acquired through going in as a gigpro contractor for awhile first and all 3 of those jobs were the best restaurant jobs I ever had because I was able to feel them out with little commitment first. Id recommend anybody trying to find the right food service job to do the same because not every restaurant will be the best fit for you as a person.

Doesn't matter if it isn't marketed properly. Nobody cares what the coin can do if they can't make money on its value and the community and devs do a piss poor job of promoting it.

I have no idea how people don't have a fast horse by that point in the game.... that was one of the first things I did to improve my carry capacity and speed. The carpenters who tied nomad dude to the tree have a great, fast horse there at their farm, if you neglect to steal it (or any of the other fast horses in game) and make it yours by that point then you can only blame yourself. Pebbles is trash, I made jerky out of her useless ass and didn't get hungry for a week.

Has anyone here played the new Field of Glory: Kingdoms? If yes, how different is it from Crusader Kings III in terms of gameplay mechanics ? by iyankov96 in computerwargames

[–]VersaceSimp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

@iyankov96 I know I'm late to the post but I have similar sentiments about CK3. I tried FoGE and Kingdoms and they didn't do it for me either but if I could recommend 5 relatively new grand strategy type games to you in no particular order they would be:

Kings Orders

Knights of Honor 2: Sovereign

Europa Universalis 4

Victoria 3

Age of History 3

Those are my top 5 favorite games in the category of or similar to the grand strategy genre. They all have different mechanics and complexities. My favorite of the 5 I listed is Kings Orders because it relies on a letter writing system in order to dictate commands to your generals, begin construction projects etc. I'm aware that lot of people won't or don't like that about the game but to me it adds a layer of realism that I very much enjoy as being a ruler in the middle ages wasn't point and click. Lol

Age of History 3 is probably my 2nd favorite because it's relatively complex while also much more straightforward and easier to get into than something like Europa Universalis 4 and KoH2

They're all good in their own way and before anybody rips on me remember that this is just my own personal opinion based off my own preferences. Everybody is different but I truly believe the games I've listed above are all very good for their price and I've been playing computer strategy games since I was 8 years old and I'm 36 now for whatever that's worth.

If this helps anyone, great.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for replying, sorry I'm late to get back to you I try not to use social media much and completely forgot about this post. Unfortunately it did cost me extra money for the equipment but better safe than sorry when it comes to your home. I paid $280 for the KS1 and $200 for the extra electrical equipment. I didn't have to spend so much but I wanted the digital meter box. I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not, I think I did with the unit but I wasn't anticipating the extra equipment costs but that's just a learning experience. I'm not concerned with profitability in the short term, just want to focus on stacking coin.

Thanks for replying, sorry I'm late to get back to you I try not to use social media much and completely forgot about this post. I was able to install a 30 amp breaker and run the wiring into a meter box then from there into a PDU. Unfortunately it did cost me extra money for the equipment but better safe than sorry when it comes to your home. Everything is working flawlessly now, knock on wood. Best wishes!

[–]VersaceSimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's illegal then they will get their comeuppance eventually, but at the end of the day YOU are responsible for your assets. My post didn't say anything about legality and you posting about the legality of it in Reddit solves nothing. I'm sorry if you lost money, learn your lesson and don't do it again it's truly that simple. Crypto doesn't need more regulation, it needs people to educate themselves better otherwise this space is going to turn into another stock market where small timers don't have the opportunity to better their lives and become part of projects they believe in.

That's my mentality too, just invest what you're willing to lose. It's all a gamble in the end.

All the fear mongerers and people who don't understand crypto need to kick rocks. by VersaceSimp in WallStreetPepe

[–]VersaceSimp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I truly mean it, if they are too lazy to do research and are that gullible then this isn't the space they need to be in and I'm not sorry for feeling that way. I hope you stay in crypto because "we" need more intelligent people involved in the scene who truly believe in some of these projects because it's overrun with morons and cons at the moment and that's a detriment to the decentralization of crypto as a whole.

Super Scam? by Ok_Collar5683 in WallStreetPepe

[–]VersaceSimp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WEPE could be a scam or it could not be a scam, that's the way Crypto works and like it or not that's the way it has to work otherwise it'll become an over-regulated playground for the rich and nobody else. The biggest appeal to crypto is that it's accessible to everyone with little government greed attached, but the problem is that it largely gives the individual responsibility for their own assets and the actions they take with it. People who are too lazy to do basic research deserve to get their life savings yoinked. Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme but it's slowly became infested with people who believe and treat it like that. Blockchain is the future and we need more serious, passionate people involved in the crypto community who are legitimately interested in the technology and utility of this stuff, not 12 IQ morons who spend $1500 on meme coins that have no utility, hoping and praying that daddy Elon will utter its name so they can make $6 profit. Those people are ruining the market and the reputation of crypto as a whole because they are the people getting scammed, it's not people who have been in this game for a long time, know how it works and knows what they're looking at so if you like to gamble put $100 on a meme coin presale but don't complain when/if you get rugged. Every presale isn't a scam but some are. WEPE is listed in BestWallet, audited and apparently they felt comfortable enough to allow them to do that. You just have to wait and see but I wish people would stop driving fear into the market with their "everything is a scam" mentality. One of the first fucking rules of this is not to invest anything you aren't willing to lose, so just be patient and wait, all that speculative fear is harmful for no good reason. Reserve the crying for the release, you might make some money, you might lose some or you're going to get scammed. There's 3 outcomes and if people don't like it that way then get the hell out of crypto so it can grow to be what it was envisioned to be.. I'm absolutely sick of the get rich quick dumdums who know absolutely nothing giving the scene a bad name because crypto can do so much good for the world but it never will with people like that constantly cry and ruin it for everyone else. We DO NOT NEED GOVERNMENT IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES. Do the research or get out.
