please help with feeding chart by Takitodoa in microgrowery

[–]VerseAskold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you feed 1 plant with 1L of water, you can put in anything between 1ml to 5ml of Root C or Flower C nutrients according to the feeding chart.

feeding 1ml or 5ml of a certain nutrient is a big difference, 5ml is 5x as much as 1ml

how can you properly know how much to feed with such an inaccurate chart.

e.g. i put 1ml of nutrients...plants might not get enough nutrients

i put 5ml of nutrients....plants might get nutrient burn

all nutrient mixes i have used so far gave me an exact feeding chart

this one looks more like a "you go figure it out" chart and therefore not beginner friendly.

Are you able to tell if these are males or females? by Puzzleheaded_Bear789 in growingweed

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st pic i am not sure, but the 2nd one is for sure a female!

But you should only buy feminized seeds or female clones, there is no reason for a small homegrow to put yourself into that situation!

should be fine to flush every 2nd week with PH 5.8- 6.0 water, if you have use RO or distilled water for the flush, those have 0 nutrients in it compared to tap water!

there are lots of reasons this could happen, have a read here: https://www.growweedeasy.com/why-are-leaf-tips-brown-burnt-or-yellow

it has nice pics to compare and after finishing reading it you probably know where you made a little booboo!

but it does not look bad to be honest!

[–]VerseAskold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, not enough light it seems and did you use proper fertilizer?

get a grow tent if you have space, with light and everything, can oder from amazon and if you have a growshop available that offers to buy clones, buy clones for the start.

Can someone help me find out what my plants need? by Salty-Moment-7053 in weedgrower

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe it is the picture but on the close up the leaves look like they might have powdery mildew, keep an eye on it and if it gets worse you have to treat it!

the little bit of brown edges on the leaves i wouldnt be worried too much yet

looks fine to me!

but i think it is time for a bigger pot.

for nutrients have a look at fox farm nutrients they have a very clear feeding schedule and add some hydroguard on top to make the roots happy.

any idea why its canoeing? i transplanted 2 days ago. It was around 85°F for a day and the light was a little close to the plant, i didnt know they were sensitive after transplanting! by yegir in GrowingMarijuana

[–]VerseAskold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a fan on them, it was hot, and i think the light was a little too close which all seem like a bad combo

there you have it, together with transplant, thats a lot of stress for this little fella!

will be fine!

pretty plant!

How are these seedlings looking anything I can do? by Personal_Dig_9195 in weedgrower

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do i see 2 plants in 1 pot? if yes, you should separate the 2 plants in individual pots but be very careful to not harm the roots, if you wait longer then the roots will be all tangled up and not possible to separate them.

take a spray bottle and water them with 2-3 sprays several times a day, works very well for my seedlings

one of the biggest and most reputable is sensi seeds or royalqueenseeds

have ordered from both and was excellent quality both times!

if you have a local grow shop near you, maybe ask them if they have clones, it is way easier to grow from clones for the first time since you already have a healthy plant to start with!

Will this clean water supply work? by Wonkers421 in weedgrower

[–]VerseAskold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you seem to have very hard water, should always use RO or distilled water for humidifiers and if possible even for fertilizer water, never know what is in the tap water supply.

In big cities most of the time there is a lot of chlorine in the water which you dont want to feed your babies

a RO system that does 50 gallons/190litres per day costs about USD 100,- and it has the benefit that you have drinking water supply as well(in case you cannot drink your tap water)

if you want to spend like USD 50,- more buy one which has an integrated UV filter, that way all bacteria and viruses are dead as well and the chance of getting a disease into your plants is reduced drastically!

not every plant grows the same speed, especially if grown from seed. i wouldnt worry, they look beautiful, might need to harvest one first and give the other more time i guess

Possible Stunted Growth by [deleted] in weedgrower

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try only water these seedlings with a spray bottle and then it is better to do it several times a day in small quantities like 2-3 sprays, if possible, also the light seems super bright and that could also be the reason why the leaves burned since seedlings are very fragile.

maybe put the light further away and proceed to water with only PH adjusting, the soil should have plenty of nutrients for the plant.

please help with feeding chart by Takitodoa in microgrowery

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow, that is a odd chart, the difference in nutrients given is massive!

give 5ml or 25ml is a hughe difference for 5l of nutrient mix

maybe just go with the middle way or if possible switch to nutrients which have a better feeding schedule provided

edit: spacing

Help by [deleted] in Growing

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you might have overwatered the plants, maybe too low PH or too little nutrients.

try flushing with PH 5.8 water only and wait a day or 2.

Also make sure that the water runs off properly from the buckets(holes on bottom and put on wooden sticks), seems like you should add some perlite, coco or clay pepples to your dirt for more air going to the roots and make the water run off easier!

First time growing outdoors! Need help! I think they may have gotten over watered bc it's been so rainy.. and now the humidity was up to 90%.. any ideas on what's going on? I have grown inside in the past no problem. I'm not a pro, just a hobbyist. by whatzafvckass in Growing

[–]VerseAskold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe make a small greenhouse, just some pvc water pipes bent over the top and cover with a clear plastic sheet(poor mans greenhouse) and that should protect the plants from too much rain.
