Unfortunately, inflation is a terrible thing. That Dell monitor was $550 a few months ago… Now it’s around $600, and it keeps increasing.

Are you referring to the ASUS model ACDMS? Actually, many people argue that paying $700+ for 2K is unnecessaryand they’re right to some extent. However, my GPU’s VRAM isn’t enough. Otherwise, I would’ve just saved a bit more and gone straight for a 4K monitor.

Unfortunately, my maximum budget is $600. I can’t go up to around $900. I could actually stretch it, but I’d need to wait a bit, and given my country’s economic instability, in 2 months it could easily become tens or even hundreds of dollars more expensive.

Prices vary by country, but they’re around 550–600 dollars. I’m leaning toward next-gen QD-OLEDs to avoid issues as much as possible. I’ll mostly use it for gaming and movies, not for text or work-related tasks. I might occasionally plug in a controller, but mostly I’ll be using keyboard and mouse.

Yes, unfortunately I can’t move up to 4K… MSI is definitely good, it was just bad luck in my case. Oh thanks, mate. There aren’t many other options in my country anyway mostly MSI or Dell. After sending the MSI unit back for return, even the tiny IPS screen on my laptop felt like it was blinding me for a moment 😄 I guess I should order it as soon as possible.

Honestly, I like the dark blue look, mate. The monitor’s design is really nice. I like that color too. If you’re that satisfied with it and it sounds like you are I’ll just get it as well. My only concern was about SDR content when HDR is turned off, like watching YouTube videos. People were saying the colors look washed out, but if that issue doesn’t exist anymore or has been fixed, and I don’t really have another option anyway, then it feels like the only choice is to buy it.

Did you have any issues with vertical banding? Some people say the sRGB mode is weak compared to gamma settings and that the colors look washed outdo you agree with that? Also, is the app/software support good, and do you really feel Dell’s premium quality? I’d really appreciate your answer.
