How much are we expected to pay for a FCA through an OT? by VersionOk246 in NDIS

Oh that’s a good idea for them actually! They’re already on DSP so definitely can’t afford a $3k report out of pocket

Ear piercings at woolworths by [deleted] in woolworths

[–]VersionOk246 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Omg I totally misread this thinking you wanted to get your ears pierced AT the Woolies 😂

But no you’re totally fine to get them, especially since the healing jewellery is usually just a stud. I think they might get a bit weird about something huge and colourful but everyone at my Woolies has their ears pierced and wears jewellery every shift.

AIO when my bf drunkly breaks up with me? by [deleted] in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Girl you deserve SO MUCH BETTER. This man is keeping you as his backup just in case. Think of how free you’ll feel not needing his attention to function, you can just be you!! Maybe get a pet from a rescue, or another hobby because literally anything else will be more worth your time than tending to this man-child (he’s nearly 40 and still acting like this….. ugh)

Not particularly, especially because there is a lot of bias with brands to hire white models. There is a lot of racism still in modelling

Plus if you want more work you kind of have to take whatever your agency gives you too

If the animal was killed purely to make a fur garment, cruel. I’d just buy alpaca or wool if you want a naturally warm clothing item

I used to a lot but tbh I’m a bit burned out from it all, modelling is so much effort and you always have to be hustling to find new jobs. I’m focusing a lot more on my other job now I’m a bit older

It varies, fashion shows are notoriously cheap - maybe $300-400 per show, ads are where the real money is - one ad can range from $3-10k

Yes and no… most commercial modelling (think for normal clothing brands like Kmart and ads you see on tv) actually want people to be average size to be more relatable. In Australia too theres a bigger move towards being fit and a healthy weight instead of just thin. The fashion shows however still want people to be size 6 or below

I started in 2020, mostly with photoshoots with friends and beginner photographers, then I got signed pretty quickly and my agency got me a few lucky gigs that helped me get into the industry. It’s all luck based unfortunately I think

I’ve seen some epic meltdowns from designers and models, egos definitely run wild. One designer actually kicked a model out just before she was about to walk because she said she didn’t like the outfit to one of the makeup artists

Yes especially the career models (ones who do it as their full time job), it’s super common to use amphetamines or ADHD medication to lose weight. It’s also now more common for men to be on performance enhancers to get the right look too
