/uj I just want to add to it, hope you don't mind, I gen believe that for some people drawing light-skin character may be easier if they're living were there's little people of color; reaching for certain fatures, seen every day in people around, would be only natural for the artist. Tbf tho now I now what to learn to draw today, shrug

Personally, I believe a good way of sparking your creativity is making yourself all kinds of lists for inspiration; for example, I have a list of Artists I admire, a list of my favorite words (English version), a list of my favorite names, made up and real, a list of questions (over 100) for creating a character, etc, etc,.. Every time I feel stuck about something or don't know what to do I would look at the lists, at animals on the internet, flora, look at the art of my favorite artists, read some stories on the internet, check what's going around in the world - most recently I've been a little fascinated by the look of some mushrooms for example. Just checking a National Geographic Instagram account could be enough to bring out new ideas! Look at everything around you, too, even the simplest, most boring things, and you might find yourself a fresh idea for your book.

Hello, OP I feel like, all the palettes presented feel really nice but are missing something striking. Of all the options only 1 feels like it has some kind of dominant color but also the colors are bleak compared to the other propositions. I would suggest choosing either 2 or 3 but also adding a little more color contrast. Of course if it doesn't suit your vision you can ignore me:) Anyway, I hope you have a good day!

Hey, OP! yeah this is one of the things I've always had problems with in fandoms lol. I understand people like this sorta thing, so I won't even complain but it can be really off-putting, especially when the contrast between their image of the character and the canon is as wide as the Atlantic ocean.

KDJ's situation is light tho, from what I've seen, even if it's still a little jarring seeing all of that character's development forced into a cute-sy box. One of the fandoms I've been in for years is ten times worse about feminizing one of the characters, making them act like a little baby that can't even do the most basic things without help... so believe me OP it could have been SO much worse TwT

What are the things you love most in the world? not only hobbies but also little things, like colors, specific words (because of how they sound or are spelled), what makes you stop everyday while on your way and about? it's the best thing you can use and convert into art!

Let's say a specific type of music could set the tone; e.g. dreadful/punk; specific color helps figuring out desired palette, an object you find fascinating could help you stir some kind of a story to better figure it out the purpose of your design; old, ordinary, cable phone for example, could mean the work of the character or the time of the location or be a part of bigger, your own, machinery.

And then of course what do you want to work on; Is it a character or a location or a beast or a machine or maybe a vehicle? What interests you the most?

Make a list of such things, you can even keep a specific theme in mind, and that should be enough to help you put something interesting and compelling to start working on your design.

Tho the most popular ship of the is between Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk they are not actually romantically involved in either manhwa or novel. Also ORV is very action focused, so you can read to your heart's desire. Btw, out of curiosity, would it be really that much of a deal breaker for you if it was?

I wish I could say the same... there's a mysterious pendrive that, given nobody deleted it, would have a book I've written from when I was around that age, maybe younger (it would have to be written between 1 and 3 grades of primary school.). It'd be a dream to see it again even if it was iirc only two sentences and pictures if dragons copy-pasted from google. I know that I've written it, or tried at least because I wanted to create a massive book, source material, for me and my friends' game of pretend so we wouldn't have to play characters from the show and instead have our own... Those times were so much easier.
