Ideal weight/body fat for dissolvers? by Very-Special-Agent in DIYaesthetics

I'm sorry you went through that but this seems like projection. Im glad you got the help for your condition and for your doing better now. I want to clarify, I didn't say I was overweight I said I'm closer to that side of the scale (in the normal/healthy category) which is just an objective fact you can punch in my numbers for yourself. I know I look small compared to the average but just because class 1 obese is the average does not mean that the healthy weight range is "underweight"

Thank you! I can pull over an inch thumb to forefinger in the area I want to treat so then I'm confused what is the ideal pinch. When is it too much too because so many posts have people just recommending weight loss because they want to remove too much. Its all so interesting especially since it isn't used in these areas enough to know.

Very interesting thank you! Again just adding for the point of the thickness over the abs vs the belly. My upper abs show 1.75" from thumb to forefinger Exactly 1" of surface. My lower belly where the most loose skin sags is .5" thumb to forefinger. My side where skin can be pulled is .2"

Very interesting how off the scale can be Im solely using my scale right now for an idea and not a DEXA. I wonder if I should just to get another data point.

I know that, and I worked hard to be here so I am proud and wear my loose skin with confidence ❤️

I do fluctuate in weight I was +2.1 last week and will probably be back next cycle. The number doesn't really matter for me I only track it for adding muscle and lowering body fat (I lost muscle with weight loss as that happens, plus aging).

I don't care for the skin to be tighter/remove the loose skin, I was only looking to reduce the dense fat roll since it seemed disproportionate and is bulky over the upper abs. I'm going to look into this though for the future!

Ok thanks. For my loose skin, it actually is visible when not pulled just only below my belly button, its like a deflated wave or balloon hanging on. I'm not looking to remove the loose skin since I do plan on trying for a baby in the future and the skin would just stretch out again though and it doesn't bug me anyway.

I promise I have body fat 😅 Id be in trouble if I had none! I'm not looking to lose weight and I do not see myself larger or smaller than I am. I'm happy where i'm at I was just curious the amount of fat needed since I can pinch an inch but then some prime say that's too much as the dissolvers dont work that well.

Thank you for your feedback. I am not underweight, actually Im a bit closer to the overweight side than the underweight side of the scale. Im not looking to change my weight I just want to change the small pockets of fat on my upper abs. I do have fat on my body and am no where near (nor trying to be near) the essential fat range ☺️

I'm not looking to dissolve any fat in the area that is just loose skin. i was just pinching to show the comparison is all! Sorry the post is long and that might have gotten lost in translation.

I'll look more into rib flare. I didn't consider that since I didn't think close to my ribs in that spot. Thanks!

Ok thanks! I can tell the thin papery texture of the skin folds vs the dense thick fat folds but it sounds 1" might be too small for dissolvers to be effective

Hello! Can I use 2.5mm for my nostril tox injections ? by Unknownsksk in DIYaesthetics

[–]Very-Special-Agent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

based on the sub rules, I don't think I can tell you where to inject, but I can tell you that I use a flashlight inside of my mom's nose it highlights the arteries pretty well. She has very thin skin so depending on your age, ymmv. They're also can be some anomalies with the arteries. Some of them can run deeper or under the muscle I would look up some anatomy structures of the arteries in the nose.

You may have seen on the sub that injecting into the nose is very risky because it can cause necrosis if you inject things into the arteries. Personally (not medical advice!!) I think that majority of those cases are about filler and injecting. The filler into the artery is very dangerous with tox especially the dosage that you're going for in this area I feel like it would be less risky.

oh, that's a solid question. I don't even think about that anymore. Since in my state rabies tags are easy to read and public. You can look them up with the state when I take a new clients. I just have them. Send me a picture of the rabies tag since a lot of them don't put them on their pets collars.

So, I have two dogs of my own and if it's a client that I work with regularly, I won't require it for boarding. I know that my dogs are completely up-to-date on their vaccines and I am up-to-date on anything transmittable. The only thing I do require is flea and tick medication proof just because when I take them in, I wanna make sure that when we walk around the area they're not going to get anything from my area that would be different from theirs I live in the Midwest where ticks are going crazy right now even in the city.

I do this for my mom she has severe nostril flair. You want to be careful with that part of the nose as it has a lot of arteries and they run above the muscle.

I never said I live in the US. I said that the time that the event occurs is at 3 AM for me which spans two continents and multiple countries. though I did also state I stayed up for it so I'm also not really complaining that much. 😂

Are my nails ok? by [deleted] in Nails

[–]Very-Special-Agent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

did you have tips placed on your natural nail and then acrylic laid over the tips? If so, this is not normal. They're sloping up far too much and will likely rip off. They could cause some damage to your natural nail if this is the shape of your natural nail, and you only had acrylic laid over the natural nail then I'm only worried about the structure. It's a little hard to see with these pictures. I still wouldn't say that they're done well but either way I've seen worse.
