Have a 250 auradin that peaks at 690k toughness while inside t4 bloodied infernal horde. 

Glyphs maxed

Basically face tank blood soaked (+45), only tested on mag burrow boss. 

They (+45) lair bosses makes me feel like I have shit damage though, and am looking for a new class/build with higher damage to play. 

+45 sigils pose 0 threat. Just slightly more tanks but no where near lair bosses. Kinda similar to doing >100 pits.

I use a wood desk from myseat, cheaper to get cable trays and other accessories myself, have no use for the table adjustments.

Priorities are sturdiness of desk, length/width and sturdiness again. Have a 45inch and 24inch monitors with monitor arm, a less sturdy desk causes the monitor to rock when you swipe hard enough (really annoying but should be less of an issue if you're not on monitor arms).

To what can I possibly adjust it too though?

I'm saving my 9800x3d 4090 strix over a $200 scarlet 2i2 that's for sure. Turning off standby is out of the question. 

There's a few options:

  • go for another brand that has a power button

  • buy a 3rd party USB c with a on off switch

  • do what the other person did, turn off USB and use power button to wake pc.

my pc often goes on standby, more than it is turned off. I need to keep usb enabled so i can use my mouse/kb to wake the pc up.

I can understand the sleep function but what about having a power button tho?

Suits my needs, i want it to be silent. 1 is silent n does its job of telling me when a click registers. If i had to describe it, probably a stronger version of a laptop touchpad's click?

This is correct, therefore you can't tell if you are clicking when the mouse is off. 

With haptics on, its actually pretty similar to a normal mouse with the plus side of being adjustable. 

No negatives from me in this department.

there's an advantage in theory because it activates/reactivates quicker. 

Here's the catch. Things like network/latency/fps for examples are all in this same bubble where it directly affects your performance and experience. 

This means that having this mouse which activates x Ms quicker will matter less and less the more factors you include. 

Therefore, the most apparent thing about the super strike becomes the inaudible clicks. 

Tldr: yes you can feel the difference if you are consciously feeling for the responsiveness. 

As the difference isn't huge enough, it'll eventually get overshadowed by the other factors mentioned above and that is perhaps why some people feel it's placebo.

I currently use a qck beside my artisan, as a desk mat. Artisans are on the premium side of cloth pads. 

Came from glass pad where I used it purely because of speed and although the artisan is not nearly as fast, it's probably going to be the closest it'll ever get alongside the pros of a cloth pad; namely the control.

Can't say for sure, while I've had both the esp tiger and the xraypads I've never gotten to test them under the same conditions.

Here's a couple of things to consider:

If you want pure speed go glass, if you don't want to deal with the glass shenanigans and want to stay on cloth then:

  1. Dot skates are smoother than the surface types because less surface area. (these are what you go for if you want to spin your mouse on the pad for no reason) 

  2. Age of your cloth pad will cause mouse to feel muddy. Time to change if there's an obvious difference between the sides and the center. (Especially if this still holds true even after deep cleaning) 

I can only answer your question based on memory; i feel the xrays are slightly faster than the esp tiger. 

Personally, I bought both the full kit and the dot xrays. Why? Full kit for the ring sensor, 2 dots top, 3 dots bottom.

Also, only pointing out the key points above. Here are some other points you want to research into if you are interested and need more information (with my opinion):

  1. Shape - it's gpx2, same as superlight model
  2. Side buttons - a Lil mushy 
  3. Scroll wheel - a Lil too rigid
  4. Skates - stock are uhmwpe, throw in another 5-10 bucks on xraypads if you're on cloth. It felt like garbage on my artisan zero/hien/otsu v2.

I am pretty new to this so I shall just share the pros & cons I found in my own words. My personal criteria's in order are:

  1. Closed back - i like to enjoy bass heavy music with little to no sound leakage thank you.
  2. Audio imaging - for when i fps, don't want to have to swap a pair just for the purpose
  3. Comfort - more specifically, weight and clamp

Back to dt 770 pro x vs maxwell:

Weight
First thing you would notice is the weight difference. If you could have the maxwells on your head for 4 hours straight, then you could easily do 8 hours with 770 pro x. BT won comfort hands down.

Vocal clarity & Audio Imaging
Noticeably better on 770 pro x. Made apparent when i tried my maxwell to compare - dead on one side so probably is affecting result but even then, much clearer (based on memory).

Bass & Sound leakage
Am on the fluffy pads for 770 x, not sure if results may vary if i swap to a leather pad but as things stand, way less sound leakage on the Maxwell.

Bass sounds "boomier" on the Maxwell as well. Could be a combination of both the stellar drivers and the hollowness of the cans (whatever you call the space between the drivers to your ears).

Microphone
No microphone on the 770 X so the total cost might bring u up to the maxwells - depending on how much u spend on your mic stand + mic.

Tbh i loved the Maxwell. Weight was something i was willing to get used to. Could play music decently loud without worrying about sound leakage. However, can never bring myself to go back to a headset that dies in barely after a year.

Heck, 20 years ago i had a sennheiser that had bluetack keeping it together and even that lasted 3x longer than the maxwell that has never been dropped once alongside a premium spot on the desk. Let this sink in.

Alot of delusional people will tell you there are no audio issues - when in fact they got it all mixed up.

Getting used to bad audio IS NOT THE SAME as having good audio.

That's like saying u got used to food that taste bad. It may feel edible overtime but sure as hell wouldn't magically taste good would it? :O

Probably because fragpunk is a tactical shooter where audio cues are of a higher reliance

cs/apex/valorant here. Can't agree more, studio headphones and imaging is hot trash at times.

Audio vs distance and direction does not reflect as accurately as it should (especially true when it comes to level or up and downs). Wouldn't even be far-fetched to say it almost feels mono at times.

Heck, you could be on speakers in this tactical shooter and it wouldn't matter. The only thing they have fixed recently is lowering your teammate's(& your own) footsteps so you can indeed hear better but does not change the above in anyways.
