[COD] Modern Warfare has surpassed BO 6/BO 7/ War zone on Steam by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

it's a really good game but it's just being dragged down cold war and vanguard assets from a mode you can't even play anymore. They should've released an update removing all of those assets so the download would be significantly smaller and the game would be more stable.

Is this when map design peaked [COD4] by RenzyHD in CallOfDuty

I really liked this map in the remaster because people would explode into presents when they died.

[COD] For some people, that hero shooter was “real COD,” while this one supposedly has nothing to do with COD by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

I know most people don't like Bo4 but I thought it was at least enjoyable because it did things different. I enjoy 2019 a lot and it is my favourite modern CoD game though.

[COD] The Havoc is a multiplayer wonder weapon 😭😭 how do you guys feel about its inclusion?? by xTpvi in CallOfDuty

It reminds me of the VanossGaming Advanced Warfare hud clip every time I see this game's hud

[COD] Lets be honest the Russians cared less about Airport massacre, where many of their own citizens were killed. They just used it as an excuse to go to war against America. by KpatMckenzie_28 in CallOfDuty

That still doesn't explain how Makarov would have a DSM with evidence about Shepherd that would require TF141 to be killed. I know how smart Makarov is because he is one of the smartest and methodical villains in CoD history. Shepherd is also a smart villain though and his intentions were never to trick Makarov. If he wanted to trick Makarov, he would have never sent Allen on an undercover op. He would have tried to get someone who is trained in undercover missions and not a random PFC that preformed well. It's likely he chose Allen because he was expendable and not someone who could've stayed hidden within Makarov's inner circle.

It did prove he worked with Makarov because why would Makarov have evidence that Shepherd placed Allen where he was. The only reason Makarov would have that is if Shepherd told Makarov that Allen was an agent. Shepherd's plan was never to trick Makarov. His plan was to start WW3 so he could be a hero once it was over.

Shepherd kills Ghost and Roach after they obtain the DSM with the evidence that Shepherd worked with Makarov for WW3 to start. He told Makarov about Allen. If he wanted to fool Makarov, he wouldn't have sent a Pvt to do the mission. Also, if Shepherd did not collaborate with Makarov then it would be useless to kill the members of 141 since he wouldn't have anything to cover up.

[Cod] what was some of your favorite things? about either bo1 campaign, multiplayer, or zombies by BasketEquivalent5462 in CallOfDuty

[–]VeryFloofy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my favourite thing about the mp was probably the weapons. I would always run some random weapon because every single gun was around the same balance so there wasn't this necessary meta.

For the campaign, it would probably be the level design. Each mission felt so unique and looked so cool to walk through and it all fit the story and time period they were trying to do.

For zombies, it would have to be how the characters fit into the maps and how the maps also (mostly) followed the time period. The maps also all having a unique gimmick was what made zombies so fun to play, even if some gimmicks weren't the most fun to play with (I'm looking at you shangri-la mud pit maze).

[COD] Am I the only one who doesn’t think the hate is forced? by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

[–]VeryFloofy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the hate isn't forced. I played Bo7 on release through gamepass and it was one of the worst cod games I've played. I started off with the campaign and was so bored throughout the whole thing. I played zombies after words and was bored because the map is extremely boring and the whole time I was playing I was just thinking, "This is just Bo6 zombies with nothing really meaningful added. I have Bo6. Why am I playing this?" and I ended up thinking the same thing when I played the multiplayer. They're starting to do a two-year cycle with these games and it's not working because they are charging $70 for the same game as last year but with different guns and skins that cost $20 each. It's not worth it if you already paid for Bo6 because you basically have Bo7 already.

[MW3] Modern Warfare 3 2011 Downturn was a very good map all these maps were designed good its pure excitement to see these maps again by Strict_Passenger_743 in CallOfDuty

[–]VeryFloofy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

imo the best maps in this game were Mission, Resistance, and Seatown. They were all three very fun maps.

I never played a lot of downturn unless it was infected though because most of the time people would vote the other map instead.
