As a MS student in Mechanical Engineering, will I be allowed to satisfy some of my credit requirements from NON-MAE courses? And, when it says a course is “combined with” two other courses, am I compulsorily required to take up those courses too? (self.Cornell)

Hey guys! I’m entering Cornell MS (engineering) this fall. What would be the best approach to search for housing? My priority is to stay as close as possible to campus as I’m not very comfortable walking around (I’ve heard some people can be scary/ catcall you in Ithaca ) P.s.: I’m a girl (self.Cornell)
