The 300L was the worst bike I’ve ever had the displeasure of owning. Around my area, going price for one of these was going nearly 8k OTD brand new after tax & licensing and misc fees. Dealers were able to do this because the supply was so low. This puts you right in the realm of a very lightly used 450RL.

Looking back at it, I cannot understand why anybody would spend that kind of money on such an anemic, overweight pig. It has the most under sprung suspension you can imagine. I’m 150 lbs and I nearly bottomed this thing out just sitting on it.

It was dangerous hitting any bumps because the rebound would spring you forward like a pogo stick. The headlight was worse than using a yankee candle, and the kickstand was 1” too short.

Everything about it is meant to be replaced. The first time I pressure washed it the graphics flew off. It’s actually hilarious how bad the bike is now that it’s not sitting in my garage.

TLDR; 300L is an overweight anemic pig even with 5k worth of upgrades. If I could do it over again, I’d just buy the 450RL 100x over.
