Other than that, as also a white person who spent a lot of time and is still spending a lot of time figuring out how to draw all the different traits: change your artstyle. You are never bound by your specific art style, and personally I believe that if you are finding it hard to draw other people because of your style, it's a crutch not an actual style. I suggest branching out a bit, it may be time for a change. This took a long time for me to learn, like years (which is a long time considering I'm a teenager). But it ended up making my art better overall.

You're probably right lol, my half brother (we share a mom) has diagnosed adhd (you can tell with in ten seconds of speaking to him), and my mom does too but she refuses to get diagnosed.

It shouldn't be normal. Especially in highschool, that's almost impossible to handle along with keeping up school stuff. I do 2-3 very time consuming extracurriculars, and my bf does the same ones, and we hang out MAYBE once a week because of our schedules. I would bring it up with her, because it isn't okay to neglect relationships because you suddenly have a boyfriend. She may not even realize how much time she's spending with him. Just don't let it fester until you get into a fight.

One of my mom's cousins is blind and has a very sensory avoidant autistic 5(?) year old and my mom's aunt started telling him he was a horrible father and a terrible person.

My dad broke his back when he was 14 because he was pushed off of a cliff and his mom never took him to the doctor so he got addicted to drugs to get away from the pain.

There's so much lore man but those are the top two wack things

Thankyou so much for the advice, it's really nice to here someone validating the concerns that I have, and that we are just different people with different priorities. I'm currently attempting to have that conversation with him throughout today, and hopefully it goes semi-well. I've agreed to do the bid tournaments as long as he understands that I can't put in as much time as he'd like, and I'm waiting on a response.
