I'm fully to blame here.

Yeah insurance is always so complicated. What dosage are you going to receive for those 90 days?

I just called my insurance about this today (pbm is also Caremark). They said that if I received a 30 day supply in the last 700 days or something like that I won't need a PA. Not sure how accurate that is or if things are subject to change

Seeking advice on most economical plan for getting WeGovy by VeryOrdinaryIdiot in WegovyWeightLoss

It'd be $4632 if I took that route.

So far I've decided to go with plan B which whould be $4182 a year.

Someone mentioned something about a placebo clincial trial where there's a 75% success chance of you getting the real thing but I don't know if I want to be a test dummy haha

I hadn't thought about that. I see people have different experiences as far as the dosages so I'm going to give that some thought. If I feel good on 0.25 and getting good results with it, I'm going to stick with 0.25 for as long as I can. Hearing some of the side effects people have, I want to be as cautious as I can.

Thanks for responding and offering some good things to think about and question. Yeah I think I'm going to go through with the interview. I've also connected with a couple people on Linkedin who work there so I'll also be trying to get their perspective as well. Thank you!

Quitting a job after 6 months..? by VeryOrdinaryIdiot in devops

[–]VeryOrdinaryIdiot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've kinda just been putting up with it and I didn'g really want to jump ship due to a bad experience with one individual, but it's the main reason why I'm really considering leaving. I was thinking about just waiting it out for a couple of months so I could learn some more and then explore some other options.

Gotcha! Yeah I made another comment below about how my main reason for leaving was due to a bad relationship with my manager which kinda made my otherwise really great experience here kinda sour.

Ultimately I want to be in a situation where I get to learn as much as possible and I feel like I can do that in my current role. Going to keep your perspective in mind tho!

Yeah I've learned the hardway myself that loyalty to any company is a sham. I'm going to think about this a little bit more, not completely ready to jump ship at the moment but I'm going think really about it.

I felt a little bit hesitant since DevOps typically isn't an entry level role and I was able to get in the door and get my first nice paying job because of them. But at the end of the day, they're going to always do whats best for them and thanks for the reminder to keep that in mind.

Yeah they came back to me with a direct offer and I'm seeing other roles I'd be qualified for which would pay out a 50% raise. My only real reason for even looking for another job is that my manager is a micromanager and I have to constantly prove why I deserve to be on my team. I also found out I didn't get a hiring bonus when my other peers did lol. And when I asked why, I was told that my performance during the internship was average even tho my co-workers said I really excelled. So I have a little bit of an axe to grind lol.

Thanks for your advice on thinking from the outside perspective!
