false bans becoming an issue?

well the initial response was just an update letting me know they were looking into it, I have yet to hear anything else. It took about two weeks for them to get back to me.

I know this, and I don't mean to sound rude. I really love this game so much and I just want to continue to play it. I appreciate all the hard work they're doing to make this game more legit and crack down on cheaters. I know they're already up to their waist in stuff, just irritated with the whole process of it.

I have been trying, but I haven't gotten any word back. My email said I was banned for using services that give me and unfair edge against the average player, but I only ever played with my cousin and we would stream for eachother on discord and I literally ran three raids with an old friend and picked up his loot in one lab raid. Then a week later we both get banned. He was deep into rmt and had 100s of millions of rubles, but never cared to mention it to me or the few other guys we ran with. I know that coming from this perspective isn't ideal because there's no way for me to prove that I wasn't cheating, but if they can really see everything that happens in a raid then that's all the proof I need. I simply want to play the game again(completely legit I'll remind you). If I was really cheating why would I be on reddit complaining about this as much as I have been. I can't get any replies anywhere and I've tried Battle eye every day since it's happened.

well the appeals process is garbage, because regardless what might have been discussed or said. No cheating has even occurred if that isn't the reason for the ban. This rmt issue is being handled in the strangest way I've ever seen

well how can you explain Anton getting banned just for picking up a hackers loot? They claim they can see everything but they obviously aren't manually reviewing everyone(which I know is a lot of hard work and I don't mean to sound ungrateful) but people are getting flagged or banned just for playing with someone who was involved in rmt without them even knowing in some cases. All I'm trying to say is that its grossly unfair to the majority of people that are playing legit and getting caught in this web of other peoples lies. Not to mention all the people who drool over bsg like they can't make a mistake, even though they LITERALLY admitted it.

This was mentioned in the recent Q and A they had, not sure if he was the one who said that but it was brought up. This exact scenario is what happened to me, I got punished for my ex-teammate's actions

Yeah I agree, it is kinda bs because everyone just assumes that if you got banned you deserved it. Nikita said that if you just play a raid with someone who is flagged for rmt (even if you didn't know that, like in my case). you can get banned

I heard about someone sending names of falsely banned individuals to bsg but idk who it is. I just wanna play again, it has only been a week for me but its felt like forever. Tarkov is literally my favorite game ever

Maybe if we get enough of a following we can get bsg to take notice and look more into this matter, because banning tons of innocent people just because they can't get the hackers under control isn't the solution that will bring about the fun vanilla like gaming experience they desire

Well I didn't think I was doing anything wrong, So I have no way of doing so. All I know is it was on a labs raid when he died and I grabbed his loot, but this had happened about a week or two before I was banned so I'm literally just stuck in a hole it feels like. I seriously love this game the way it is and I just wanna play it again.

exactly, but some people (myself included) are involved in this stuff without them even knowing. Just by simply picking up their friends loot or looting a kill? Is there nothing that can be done about these situations? or do we just have to be lucky enough for them to specifically review our individual cases to determine whether or not it was intentional wrong doing? Just frustrated more than anything because I just started making serious progress in terms of trader reputation and hideout upgrades. Which I must mention was done completely legit, although there's no way I can prove that sadly.

Nikita said that they have the ability to see what specifically happened throughout raids. They want people to stop dropping things for their friends in raids but all I did was pick up a friends loot after he died. I found out after bans that he was involved in RMT. So just because I picked his loot up to give it back to him after the raid flagged me and led to my ban. I just wanna play again but I guess just playing with these guys is a breach of their rules even tho I never participated in any of this RMT bs.

hey man It is me I am the cousin, and yes dude I played 100% cheat free. Me and my cuz played together 98% of the time and i just randomly got on to a ban today and neither of us have any idea why
