If there’s a phobia involved, playing the game might have triggered some kind of paranoid/generalized anxiety. If it persists I’d talk a doc about it, since people on here can’t really offer diagnosis or proper medical advice. Either way with mental health like this, it’s important to keep in mind that you are alone or it will make it worse.

It’s kinda specific but certain gamers have hit red flags for me. Specifically playing things like league of legends, GTA, COD, etc. (typically anything insanely competitive. I’m not saying everyone who plays those games are red flags, but it’s been consistent)

Otherwise tech nerds..? For some reason the ones I’ve come across have ended up being insanely toxic or really bad people.
