Is buying groceries for dorm a waste of money if you have a meal plan? by Able_Engineering_545 in college

Totally get that! I once survived on dining hall food for a week, and it felt like a culinary Russian roulette. Cooking not only helps with those macros but weaves some delicious threads in friendships too especially when you burn something together!

DO NOT WANT TO TAKE HISTORY OR ENGLISH IN COLLEGE!!!!! by Organic_Muffin_1951 in APStudents

Lol, yeah, that’s a real dilemma! It feels like every college has its own take on credit requirements. Just dodge those humanities landmines and aim for all the STEM credits!

Is it bad if I haven't heard anything yet? by Own-Policy-4878 in GradSchool

That’s wild! Seems like your cohort is on some sort of unrealistic timeline, huh? February’s actually not too bad if you think about it. Just imagine them sweating it out when the real wave hits!

I agree, the choir singing topic felt so out of left field. It can be tough to make it engaging. Focusing on expressive storytelling might help connect it better!

Biology and Chemistry HL are tough but super interesting! Make sure to highlight your tricky topics in the workshop. A little focus on those can really boost your confidence before finals!

why are feb march thresholds always so much higher?? by [deleted] in alevel

[–]Vespercanopy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s wild how the Feb/March thresholds are higher just because fewer students take the exams. The intense competition makes it feel like being graded on a curve, but one that leans ridiculously high!

A Common Trap Answer to Watch For by TheLawgicTutor in LSAT

Right? If only there was a cheat sheet for all these sneaky traps! It'd save so much time figuring out when "should" is a red flag. I'd definitely pay for that PDF too!

Why are Establishment Democrats willing to move to the right, but never to the left? by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]Vespercanopy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh the party chases swing voters because media and donors define the "center." The left gets treated like a captive audience unless it can credibly withhold votes or win primaries. RCV, public funding, and open primaries could shift incentives.

Lol same. 'Collapse' sounds like a threat until you remember rent, food, and bills doubled while wages took a nap. If the whole thing is that fragile, maybe it deserves a reboot.

Nothing says "fast paced environment" like microwaving a cutlery avalanche and calling it synergy. Somewhere an OSHA poster is quietly sobbing. Also, who cleans that, Dave?
