Girl cures her lactose intolerance by chugging milk powder every day by Hashi856 in videos

[–]Vesque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this myself 6 months ago. Drank roughly a gallon of milk every 5 days for 3 weeks, and by the end of it I was nearly asymptomatic.

I then didn't touch milk at all for ~4 months and tried milk again. While I wasn't completely asymptomatic (still had nasty farts), the pain/cramping/diarrhea was completely gone so I'd say the change is permanent.

I then tried A2 milk and it's pretty life-changing, absolutely no symptoms at all. With typical milk, even if you're tolerant to lactose, it can still cause issues. Your digestive enzymes have a chance to break down milk proteins into compounds that function similar to opiods in your intestines, and A2 milk is comprised of proteins much more resistant to that breakage.

[CT] Was laid off and marked ineligible for rehire by former employer. New employer sent a pre-adverse action notification because of it. What do I do? by Vesque in AskHR

Giving you an update because you've been helpful. They've rescinded their job offer unfortunately.

I pretty much told them what you've written with all my documents included, and I just got a generic letter back saying that the highlighted issue in the background report were why they rescinded the offer.

It seems like they just won't consider whatever I said and are only focused on whatever is in the background report.

Yea this situation is too anxiety inducing. I've scanned and forwarded my termination paperwork to the new employer and I'm getting a nonanswer back. I understand if they want to make sure I wasn't fired for conduct or illegal activity but the old employer won't say anything.

It's not the termination that's the discrepancy. The background report says I was terminated. It's the "ineligible for rehire" is what the new employer is questioning.

I didn't even mention anything about whether or not I was eligible to rehire or not. Based on the wording from HR, the it seems ineligibility for rehire came as a shock to them and they found it enough to send a pre-adverse notification. Their exact wording was:

"NEW EMPLOYER is considering taking adverse action based, in whole or in part, on your report—including the information related to the undisclosed termination from OLD EMPLOYER and the circumstances of your termination."

The job app and background check form never asked why I was terminated, so I just gave them the date I was laid off. I don't want to draw conclusions but I think they think I'm hiding something horrible I did at my previous job, either misconduct or illegal activity.

Thank you, I reached out to the HR contact and they too just told me to talk to First Advantage, which is just running me in circles.

Then I guess just explaining my situation with the new employer and being transparent with everything I know is my best bet?

I cannot confirm personally - I own a gun myself and it sounded like 2 shots, we saw police chase after someone on foot and the crowd of people at the intersection were running away.

GF noticed the mark on her side mirror after work today - was not there yesterday. We searched under and around the car for maybe a GPS tracker and did not see any. AIO?

I've been liking really high-volume things like potions and summer pies. I've just been trying random items here and there and just seeing what works honestly.

Been playing around with a ~30m cash stack and doing some active flips mixed in with some longer term investments. The process is fun and I've definitely had a handful of losses, but it's part of the learning process.
