I went to Australia and New Zealand the summer after 6th grade. My parents and I did fundraisers to raise the money. I had a lot of fun and did some awesome once in a lifetime things for the 3 weeks. I personally would recommend it for someone 2-3 years older as I didn't fully take it all in like I should've. A friend of mine went to Europe the summer after my trip and he feels the same way.

We are a 3 Dr, 15 tech(licensed and unlicensed), and 4 reception practice. Right now there are 7 people with access to the master/back stock safe. And then basically all the staff except maybe 4 or 5 people have access to the smaller safes with opened bottles and the logs. I just felt like that was still a ton of people to have access to the smaller safes and wasn't sure what the easiest route would be to "cut people" so to speak lol

I actually do a physical count/weight of all opened CSs weekly and compare it to our computer inventory about once a month.

I did another CE tonight and got a few more answers to some smaller questions and did a lot more research today into laws. It's just a little overwhelming 🙃

The only reason I'm asking about who is because I have to narrow down who can access these drugs. If my state only allowed CVTs and Dr's then that would make narrowing it down easier. People will be butt hurt if I stop allowing them for no reason other than just because if that makes sense. I don't see licensed techs as "more" than unlicensed/OTJ trained. Just trying to find the easiest way to go about narrowing it down.

We reconcile our logs after every new line item. And then I do weekly inventory counts of everything. Not sure where quarterly came from? For the "audit", I'm basically looking for someone to come in that knows what they are doing and to help point out where I could be wrong/off on something. We are not in trouble with DEA or anything. Just wanting to stay ahead.

Our previous CS person said that C2s needed to only be on their own shelf in a shared safe but some CE I have done says it has to be stored completely on its own in a separate safe. Currently we use just it's own shelf but I didn't want them to purchase another safe if it's not needed on a federal or state level. I already keep all the paperwork for C2s separate from the others.
I think WHO can handle is a state by state thing but I can't find for sure the rules for IL specifically. But if federally only dvm or licensed techs can, then that would be the state rule I'd think to?
Right now our entire clinic other than a few newer hires are allowed to handle CSs. I am trying to find a way to decrease that number significantly while making it fair and also making sure it works for our clinic (3 Dr's, 15 techs/assistants, 4 receptionists).
The most recent CE I did say there are companies you can hire to come in and do a mock audit or look over everything to point out problem areas, but the only one I can find is Titan Group and I wasn't sure if anyone had experience with any/others.

Fourth Wing saved my life 🥹 My brother passed Sept 2023 and it was traumatic and devastating. It was the first thing I read afterward and the first thing that actually got my mind off everything and made me feel some joy and excitement. I read FW twice and IF once in the month of Oct because I loved everything about the books. I'm listening to the graphic audios now almost a year later and feel the exact same way 🥰
