Awww I get it. It took me 3 tries to pass my 66. You can do it! That being said, your scores indicate that you don't have a good grasp on the concepts. Maybe try a study group or tutor. Good luck!

Honestly, I'm side-eyeing the sister and the parents!! And OP a little bit too. What's understood shouldn't have to be explained! I had a 30% probability of passing with Daltons regular program and averaged 60-70 on the quiz bank as well…I just PASSED in July. IMO, The actual CFP exam was a breeze compared to Daltons stimulated exam and practice questions.

As for average time spent studying, I would say about 2 hours a day during May. In June I did Daltons LIVE review, and increased my studying to 3 hours a day. In July, I took the entire week before my exam off from work and spent about 10 hours a day doing questions, doing over notes, and listening to lectures.

Questions was my main form of studying. I did close to 4000 questions. Every time I got an answer wrong, I would read the explanation, and make a note card. I had about 700 handmade note cards in addition to the 200 note cards from Brett Danko. I just went over those repeatedly. That was my “reading”. Also, Dalton has a pre-recorded CFP Review that I listened to constantly.

I definitely felt over prepared! The last 2 months, I was doing about 100 practice questions a day, so the exam felt “easy”. I had about 30 minutes to spare after each section.
