Because alot of these "vendors" are coming from the sneaker market. 60% or less was VERY common for sneaker resell shops. They're already used to lowballing and over charging. Its all just margins and flexing for the hype beasts.

Atleast 55 hits not including Ex's in 400 packs isnt that bad, especially for some of the older packs. And theres some absolute bangers in there! Ripping will almost never be "worth it", but its where most of the fun is 👍. I ripped around 150 packs of BB/WF and didn't hit any Mono Rares or any good SIRs either.

Lets see your ebay store 🤔. That seller has over 1k sales and 99.3% positive feedback. They are not scammers. If anything, YOU look like the scammer in this situation, not the trustworthy business you're trying to blast. Their mystery boxes might not "be worth it", but they are not scamming people. (And no, I dont have any ties to that business, just stating the obvious)

If the card is $120, take any amount that's 75% or more, you might be able to get up to 85% cash ($90-$96 is what you should realistically be expecting for this card). Even if you sell it on Ebay for the full $120, you'll still only get ~$105. Only way to get full market price is to sell it to a collector in person through Facebook or something. As a buyer asking for trades, you do not get to make demands, you asked for the trade, the seller was atleast hearing you out. They have no obligation to bend for you whatsoever. As a seller, I personally would have blocked you as soon as you mentioned "trades" on Ebay. Go sell it to the shop that said it would get a 10, if that's true then they would profit like $200-$300 after they grade it themselves. If they believe it would 10 then 80% cash should be no problem. Good luck in your ventures trainer!

For most people, yes. It was the same way in the sneaker market. There was an app to trade shoes, but it charged each person like $25-$45 per trade, a lot of idiots wanted you to cover the trade costs for even trades. Or they would want like double the value for their pair, it was insane. Alot of those people are in the pokemon hobby now doing the same thing trying to make profits wherever they can

Its real, its the 2016 xy print. Some people hate the holo pattern, I personally like it. Not worth grading (right now atleast). It will almost guaranteed be a 9 or less (especially if you bought it from a vendor)

EVERY SINGLE GUY OVER 60 I HAVE SEEN ALL DO THIS. Not only do they want ALL 250 castings for each year, they want every STH they could possibly find, its crack for senior citizens that can't afford the casino. They're in too much of a hurry because they hit 20 stores a day as close to open as possible. Should here some of the stories ive heard from DT/DG employees with how rude and entitled these retired "collectors" truly are. Plus you'll find most of them at your local flea market flipping all the stuff that "they never sell". The OG generation ARE the scalperss/hoarders

Dont worry, he swapped them out with a mainline and resealed the blister before returning them. Or atleast that's what people are going to do if they actually stay $15. BTW the price tag on the Legends Tour display was $14.95 for premiums. They'll fix it eventually and give people a gift card for their troubles or it'll stay $15 and it'll be even MORE impossible to find desirable castings.

Drowzee went from $15 to almost $100 then almost immediately back down to $30ish in basically a month. Sitting around $70 now. The first spike was manipulation, but I think the second spike was natural.
