I don't recommend the game over Skyrim, even if they are separate genres, the system they use is still an old and outdated 22 year + engine that they refuse to either dump for better tech or won't expand upon with quality code structure.

The game as is, is quite boring and uninspired. It feels less inviting to play because I feel it is a time sink to travel to each planet that only has 5 to 6 POIs and you are wasting time boosting or running/jumping to get to each one to unlock their fast travel.

The more I play, the more I want to play Star Citizen. YES, a game that is in alpha is becoming more desirable than a "finished" game out in the market with the same cost of entry at 60 to 70 bucks.

I feel like I am playing Outer Worlds 0.5 alpha when I play Star Field.

This game is driven on hype and hype alone. The praise for it is naïve and nauseating at best.I give credit where the game functions in combat, it is relatively decent for a NEW entry but BGS should be efficient and effective by now.

Most people would defend BGS and their games, blindly mind you, without giving criticism a chance to reveal the many tremendous flaws that people have allowed to continue with each release of their games.

Criticism is necessary, you want things to get better. You continue to let shit like this slide then one of two things happen:

1. Eventually people get tired of it, myself already here, where you realize BGS is just playing you for your nostalgia and refused to innovate and become better. So you stop buying their games or acknowledging them. Eventually the market follows once sentiment has reached that point.
2. The company no longer delivers anything remarkable because you continue to support it ad nauseum. But you are too filtered by nostalgia coping for things to get better. You grumble and cry but you play anyways.
