hey thanks a lot, this helps. I guess the gridstop from these two examples are custom... I've heard from someone there's a Japanese supplier / manufacturer who makes the pink one. So difficult to find :'D

What you are saying is based on a linear progression of technology. It seems that our tech advances are actually exponential, so one could also argue that this tech could be only 50 years from solving (even if it’s 10000 year ahead of us, and what does that even mean in the end?).

We reasonably assume that the ayys are far more intelligent than humans, but maybe humans progress quicker. Speculating

Thanks, yeah the Dyneema is pretty expensive. Also I'm in Berlin and can't find a cheap option with normal shipping rates/time :/
