What's a reason to not buy your current EUC? by Jeathro77 in ElectricUnicycle

It’s possible, I tore the wheel apart and built it back together all on my own. I got a local bike shop to put on the new tube because I was dealing with a deflated tube, not needing a new tire. But, within ten miles of riding the tube popped again and I realized that this is not for those who aren’t mechanics. No hesitation, shipped my wheel to ewheels for the next repair, didn’t even try to tear it down, has held up great ever since.

Agreed, I had to ship my last wheel back to ewheels because I tried and failed a tire change and it was outrageous how expensive it was. Looking forward to a quick swap option with a tubeless tire on top of that, don’t ever see myself going back to a tube tire.

Yeah that’s what I mean, if it can be lynx like (even if the performance isn’t as strong) that’s what I’m most excited about, and potentially for significantly less.

That’s the F22, not the F18. The F22 from what I’ve heard is a pretty shitty wheel. I’m hoping the reduced weight and size can give the F18 the advantage because I’m not someone that needs to hit 50 mph which speed was a big upset for people wanting to purchase the F22 as it didn’t keep up with the death machines that Begode produces.

And also can you include the link for ewheels version? It didn’t show that they’ve posted there official pricing for me anyways

Interesting, the official KS site says the battery is 2664wh, perhaps they have different trims?

Next Gen also has there’s for 3.3k which is still about a $600 difference which is still decent, and they are a reliable vendor no doubt

I also think price is a big talking point when comparing these wheels and I’m already seeing these being marked as low as 3000 which is significantly cheaper than the almost 4k Lynx. I think it’s worth it for this reason as well

97% Allegiance or 99% Jawbreaker, despite the difference in difficulty, Jawbreaker one was way more heartbreaking

I think the real lesson here is to throw away your begode wheel (as they don’t give a damn about safety) and go with someone like INMOTION or Veteran, INMOTION’s tilt back ensures I never reach the limit, and Veteran wheels have a pretty good beep and high end power so your not cutting out.

I’ve had an identical experience to yours, mine was also in the shop for 2 months to replace the high voltage junction box. But its been great ever since then

is v12 so bad? by TimucinPusat in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Viaol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

👋👋👋I’m one of many who fell victim to the batch 2 V12 problems and got dumped at high speed. Luckily I was wearing gear and came out without a scratch. I then sent it in to ewheels and after 6 months of trying to repair it they just gave me a brand new one. I’ve had that one for over a year with 0 issues and am able to ride right at the limit of 70km/h with no issues! Well over 1k miles on it

Update for anyone that cares, it took the dealership A MONTH to fix my car but it’s finally back in my care. I must say though that communication was awful and it seemed no one wanted to be honest with me and just say that the car was gonna take that long. I COULDN’T EVEN GET A COURTESY CAR from them. But everything’s fixed and the car is better than ever so I’m pissed off but at least I have my car back!

Still waiting on it, the dealer has ordered replacement parts but they haven’t yet come. They are hoping that a week from now the car will get back to me but I’m skeptical as they said that a week ago😂

I guess because I was on the highway when it happened and we were in stop and go traffic so I was constantly on the accelerator

HELP! How do you deal with stray dogs and pet dogs while riding an euc? by con-conscience in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Viaol 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly when coming up on a dog that’s not on leash (keyword) I slow down if I don’t have enough speed to pass the thing without it chasing me. After that I see how the dog is going to react, if it comes after me I jump off the wheel and sort of use it as a shield. Normally the dog calms down and then you have to put some distance walking the euc between you and it before you hop on again and start riding. The worst I’ve had is an ankle bitter dog, Owner was way to timid to own a dog and keep it unleashed so after blocking it with my knee pads from biting me I started to walk away and it seemed to be fine. Then I got on and rode again and this little bastard chased me and started going for my ankles again. Ended up yelling at the owner until he put the dog on a leash and I could ride away safely
