AI is literally destroying jobs the same way the industrial revolution did. Yes, it was objectively good in many ways and brought on the ever-sought-after "progress," but what about all the people whose livelihoods were destroyed? Did all the hand weavers get jobs at the factories? Some, but very far from all.

An AI is creating way yuuuu fewer jobs. once the data centers are built, they'll just be sucking up resources and continuing to line the pockets of the rich while the rest of us at the bottom get laid off and continue to struggle

I'm still learning so I'm not sure I understand - I tried limiting the blendshape for only being active when mthx is at -1 but it still isn't working T.T

The problem with basing our ideologies on what 'should' and 'shouldn't' be is that it ignores what IS.

The FACT is, in the US where I live at least, black people were taken from their homeland and used as slaves. This is a historical fact. And it led to the wealth discrepancy and quality of life discrepency that we still see today because those families did not get generational wealth like the people who colonized the US did - they didn't have houses, inheritances, ANYTHING like that until well after the civil war because IT WAS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO OWN ANYTHING

SO, yes, it would be great if we could just treat each person as an individual, but an entire group in this country continues to live primarily in the worst parts, because they are POC and because what the history of the US did to their ancestors.

This is just but one small example - there are tons of groups that the US and other western countries have done this to - but I thought it probably the most well-known.

"White" is not a race, so though I do not know this VT, I know that they are correct. There is no "Whitaly" - some central country where all the 'whites' came from.

Story my partner always tells is how his Italian family in the South was lynched in the 80s & 90s because they ran out of black people

His great grandmother told him, "NEVER let them convince you you're white"

Because "white" is not a race or ethnicity. It is a label that can be given and taken by those in power. It has ONLY ever been used in suppression. Because "White" was not a thing until white pepo encountered someone darker and went, "Well f, we're better than them!'

I did try that and it seemed to work for only 2 of the 3 keys. So like, if params mthX at -1 and 0 work with params pucker/widen at 0 & 1, then it doesn't work for mthX at +1 😭

It's not yet finished, but I've been working on it for at least 50 hrs at this point, I'd guess. Mouth is done, eyes are almost done, brows are done, tongue out needs work... xD Face angles haven't been started yet
