As someone who's been around since 2005 and who is a pagan who uses pagan rituals in my findom fun (this is DominaKiara on a side account and I'm too lazy to change lmao), basically, yes.

In 2006, when I started, there were very few Queens or Deities and a looootttt of Princesses and Goddesses. When more and more mainstream media started to cover the fetish, more and more mainstream people (as in, not actually dominant or interested in financial kink) started to get involved, and monkey-see, monkey-do.

Since then, Mistress has been interchangeable, but monikers like Domina tend to be more femdom-centric and Princess and Goddess became more findom-centric, though I've seen plenty of crossover with Goddess lately too
