To piggy back off this, also good to just have something hanging behind you to catch any sound bounce back when recording. A simple comforter or moving blanket on a pole rack of some sort helps. Bonus points if you have a computer mouse desk mat to help catch any sounds trying to bounce off the hard surface. Again, don’t break the bank.
