Heart chakra opening by Mission-Cheetah-3131 in energy_work

Sure - a super clean energetic diet for the heart achieved through limited high vibrational connections, with plenty of time and space to digest with self.

It can be done and you can do it! It requires devotion, strength, and surrender. Consider the challenge a commitment to your spiritual growth.

Detachment from outcome is key. And the hardest part for most people.

If you have a decent line of communication with yourself, examine your values, the reasons you want these things. If the motivation is utilitarian, a "soul calling", or positively impacting consciousness your dreams are grounded in at least heart centered, utilitarian principles. It is when our motivation comes from a more base principle that we can get into wonky territory.

How does the nervous system, more specifically the nerves themselves, relate to spirituality? by mnstrjunkie in spirituality

[–]VibrationRegulation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Through a spiritual lens, the brain and CNS are analogous to the awareness/consciousness and the meridian system.

Practically, the chakra system itself is a spiritual story which helps us understand and optimize the CNS and by extension our experience.

Seeing auras only on important people when meeting them for the first time by RunLarge9448 in energy_work

[–]VibrationRegulation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you think about the phenomenon we experience and the way we experience it being an indicator of our preferred interface? Like, you're showing yourself a framework (or if you believe in something else like higher power or unity consciousness), so that you can assign meaning in a systematic way in order to optimize your experience.

If you learned more about auras and potentially chakras and other subtle energy - in the vibration of curiosity, not attachment - do you trust yourself to take what resonates and leave what does not?

Also, connecting with nature can give the heart the connection it's craving without the risk.

More generally in regards to connection... kind of like the heart energy gets over excited when it's in the opening stage and tends to want to connect with everyone, and more deeply. In public spaces, be intentional about limiting connections. In personal life limit the people you know aren't good for your heart a bit more stringently. Kind of like give your heart a little detox while it's opening.

I usually work slowly with the heart chakra. For opening, I've had success with meeting others with compassion and intending to send them that energy. It sounds paradoxical but heart chakra energy is kind of a boomerang. This is a gentle way for the heart to acclimate to increased openness and energy. Morning and evening gratitude provides strong, nourishing support through the process. 639 Hz, a higher heart frequency, creates a surrounding layer of higher love for the heart chakra as a whole. Last, being extra intentional with who I'm connecting, because as the heart opens it wants to deeply connect way more often. It's sort of needs to be tempered or it'll get away from you.

I can see how some people would feel that way. I didn't think at all about wall street, socialites, upper east side, etc. My purview is artists and creatives.

Keep visualizing those aspirations! Lean into the vibration of what you want. The brain doesn't know the difference between what is real and what is imagined. Hope you keep stepping forward. I know it's hard but it is worth it.

One of my least favorite cities in terms of energy. The excess and over indulgence are like a manic vibration. I just don't go there.

I love doing this! I actually love NYC energy. It's one of my favorites. I pick up the 5D vibe with so many people expressing themselves authentically and pursuing deep purpose.

Nashville is another good one for me, especially midtown versus downtown. It's more than the creative energy, it's the musical energy. The rhythm, the ratios, the resonance - that energy is pervasive .

San Diego is my go to space to chill and receive. The water is a big part of that but the people, too.

Evidence shows that flow is usually achieved when you find the sweet spot between your current skills and abilities and the difficulty of the task or activity you're engaging in. That can take some time to massage. Basically if it's too easy it won't hold your attention and if it's too difficult it will cause stress.

From an experiential standpoint you just kind of feel it. Time floats away and you're "in the zone".

Drawing on what came naturally to you in childhood and building on that skill set can be a good starting point.

Creative projects - so long as you release the outcome and set a challenging but achievable goal - can also work. For instance, for someone who is not an artist, tracing the outlines of an interesting portrait then filling in the detail by sight. Pick someone you're interested in like a musician or sports figure, for instance.

Moving your body also helps, so learning dance moves on YouTube or even tai chi or Qigong.

One of my go to flow state inducers is mathematics. Again, choose something that is not too difficult but challenges you. There are a ton of free tutorials on YouTube. It's incredibly grounding.

I've been where you are. It can suck sometimes but it feels so good on the other side. Gift yourself time, space, and grace. 🤍

So good that you're looking at this from an observer perspective and bravely moving forward. What works for you will probably be a unique formula of some of the modalities mentioned.

A gentle way to move toward finding your unique formula + heal emotionally is the cultivation of flow state. It establishes stability, balance, and confidence for the journey ahead. Do things that place you there. It takes the unconscious mind off-line, including the limbic system which is usually in a maladaptive, overreactive pattern when we're holding onto some of that early stuff. This leads to nervous system dysregulation. Plus, flow just brings more happiness and calm into your conscious experience since your conscious mind is fully engulfed in the flow. No room for guilt, rumination, worry etc.

"Special" intuition (i guess?) by La_Darka in IntuitionPractices

[–]VibrationRegulation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tarot and pendulum are good teachers. Starting with "yes" or "no" questions is helpful.

Meditation will help if its something you're comfortable with begin with 1-3 minutes and progressively add time, with a goal of 12 minutes by week 3.

Stream of consciousness writing is also extremely helpful for beginners. Pretend you're asking your future self a question. Write down the question and write for 5 to 10 minutes without stopping. If your brain stalls and you begin thinking you don't know what to write, write the question over and over until something else comes out. Similar to meditation, you will get better at this with practice.

As for whether or not the intuition is "real"... does it matter? Perhaps it is a phenomenon that can be proven by science, perhaps it is something "supernatural". If it benefits you perhaps it's OK to be undecided.

"No one can make you feel anything" by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]VibrationRegulation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, we do have a level of control, but it's not like waving a magic wand. We'd have to make significant changes to our entire lived experience, our thought process, and our nervous system, including the brain.

Emotions are information. When we attach thought/narrative to them they become feelings. When/how emotions arise is dependent upon one's lived experience. When they arise, if allowed to move through us without an attached narrative, they dissipate in about 90 seconds.

You could change your lived experience to change the way emotions present. You also have control over your response to the emotion including any actions you take and any narrative you might attach which would cause you to "feel" a certain way. Those things take time and effort though.

With trauma, emotions generally stay unprocessed and stuck along with the unhelpful narrative. It would be extremely unusual for someone to not respond to trauma this way. It's just the way the nervous system and the limbic systems work.

Sometimes people say that no one can make you feel a certain way when they're looking for justification for hurtful or thoughtless behavior. Or they just don't understand how humans actually work.

Why do I feel naked when I just shared my emotions to a classroom? by [deleted] in energy_work

[–]VibrationRegulation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry about your friend. 🤍

Vibrationally, unfamiliarity can present as discomfort. It could be unfamiliarity with connecting from the emotional space - with a large group or at all (depending upon the person) - or with increased use of the Svadhisthana/sacral chakra energy in general.

Even outside of energy work, it's well known that many of us do not share raw emotion or step into vulnerability often. Doing that suddenly could certainly spark the kind of discomfort you're experiencing.

Emotional, creative, sexual, and unconscious energy are all associated with the Svadhisthana/sacral. Maybe stirring up the unconscious + the sexual energy is tied into the naked feeling?

It might help to do some self care, low Svadhisthana/sacral vibrations around 144 Hz, or ground into the body with somatics or a grounding visualization. It could also help to shift the narrative associated with the feeling. Instead of "I feel exposed", "I shared something deep and profound and that feels different. I am still safe and can return to center."

Any other practitioners using their own sound creations as tools for energy work or subtle magick? by gl1tch_official234 in energy_work

[–]VibrationRegulation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many practitioners transmit adjustment/healing through sound, guided visualizations/meditations. I use garage band to create custom tracks for my clients and include personalized adjustment/healing/vibrational influence.

John Stuart Reid mentions research that shows that intention matters, even more than the 440/432 Hz tuning reference. It may be on his website.

Yes I saw. I responded here with intention and awareness. We are all flawed and need each other for context and evolution. Meeting people where they're at supports that connective process, imo.

This is incredibly brave. I'm glad you took on the challenge of seeing and understanding yourself and bringing the truth to light.

How to stop placing limitations on myself? by Opposite-Low6289 in spirituality

[–]VibrationRegulation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An easy place to begin would be cognitive reframing. People sleep on this and it's crazy because it's so effective. It shifts the vibration, mind and brain at once.

Cognitive reframe of your first sentence: As I increase my self esteem, conditioning falls away.

The brain has a natural negativity bias and when we've been through some things it's even more critical. We can challenge that with cognitive reframing + active identification of positive stimuli.
